  • Patent number: 5620228
Abstract: A drawer device or member is provided which is prevented from inadvertently moving of an arm rest at the time of either a sudden stop or very fast acceleration when starting. The drawer device comprises an outer member fixed in the arm rest and an inner member installed so as to be capable of sliding movement into and out of the outer member. A push type lock or open mechanism is positioned between the outer member and the inner member, and regulates movement of the inner member. Also included is a control device, which controls movement of the inner member by preventing release of the lock when the arm rest is in a substantially upright position, and releases the lock when the arm is in a substantially horizontal position.

  • Patent number: 4954088
Abstract: A socket for mounting IC chip package on a printed circuit board has an elongated socket body having a plurality of contact elements aligned along the length of the socket body for contact with corresponding one of leads extending laterally from the IC chip package. A cover frame is fitted over the socket body to press the IC chip leads against the corresponding contact elements for positive electrical connection therebetween. The socket body carries between the longitudinal ends thereof the contact elements and is engaged at the longitudinal ends with the cover frame. Each contact element is struck from a metal strip to include a base and an anchor leg extending from one end of the base to be bent into the socket body, the other end of the base extending laterally and being bifurcated to form a vertically spaced pair of a spring leg for contact with the corresponding one of the IC chip leads and a terminal leg for connection with a circuit on the printed board.

  • Patent number: 4458502
Abstract: An air conditioning device for cooling and/or warming a room by introducing thereinto air in the room and heat exchanging the same. The device comprises an outer housing having a top covering wall 1a to face the ceiling, a rear covering wall 1b to face the rear wall surface, and side covering walls 2 to skirt left and right sides of the device. Partition member 3 divides said outer housing interior into an air intake chamber 4 and an air blowing chamber 5, said partition member having mechanical strength, and constituting a skeleton together with said outer walls, 1a, 1b, and 2, 2. A side covering panel 21 is fitted on said side covering walls to cover either or both said side covering walls 2. An air blowing means is provided in said air intake chamber 4 for sending air into said air blowing chamber 5. An air filter 7 is provided in said air intake chamber to remove dust in the air to be taken in by said air blowing means.

  • Patent number: 4292614
Abstract: Electromagnetic relay having a coil-wound bobbin with flanges at each end, a reed mounted on one flange and extending through the bobbin, fixed contacts mounted on the other flange cooperating with a free end of the reed, and a casing formed by a base and a cover. An upwardly projecting peripheral wall is provided on the base, and the lower edge of the cover engages the peripheral wall. Coil, reed and contact terminals extend through bores formed in the casing base. Grooves in the lower side of the base communicate with the bores and with the lower ends of passages which emerge at the peripheral wall. Sealant filled in the grooves simultaneously seals the terminals in the bores and the cover to the base. When the cover engages the interior of the peripheral wall, webs provided on the upper side of the casing base confine the sealant to the bores and to pockets provided at the outer side of the cover.
