    Abstract: A self-regulating electric heater includes a casing made of ceramic and a heating unit housed in the casing. The heating unit includes a PTC body for generating heat when electric current is supplied, heat dissipating plates essentially made of brass and coupled to the PTC body in such a manner as to sandwich the PTC body between the heat dissipating plates and terminals connected to each of the heat dissipating plates for the external electrical connection. The self-regulating electric heater further includes lid member and sealing member for sealing the casing hermetically.

    Abstract: An automatic sewing machine includes means for advancing a work piece having a plurality of contiguous edges connected together in angular relationship to each other to sew such edges in succession, a table supporting the workpiece and having an arcuate side face along which the workpiece is guided, and a feed mechanism provided below the table along the arcuate side face for frictional engagement with a portion of the workpiece which hangs from the table. The feed mechanism is driven to turn the workpiece in such a manner that when a first edge of the workpiece has been sewn, a second edge of the workpiece contiguous to said first edge is aligned with the advancing or feed direction of the workpiece.

    Abstract: A fuel injection pump for Diesel engines comprises a plunger unit in the pump body, a delivery valve, and an injection-quantity control mechanism in the pump body between the plunger unit and delivery valve. The control mechanism has a piston slidable in the pump body and communicated with the plunger unit and delivery valve and also has an injection-quantity control member coaxial with the piston and axially adjustable in position to press the piston against the pump body with the aid of a spring on the other end of the piston. The lift limit distance of the piston to be adjusted by the injection-quantity control member is preset to a range not less than that obtained by dividing the quantity of fuel to be injected at the engine start by the cross sectional area of the piston.
