  • Patent number: 8508781
Abstract: In the image forming apparatus, when the document data is developed to generate the print data in order to print out by the document data, the possibility of repeated requests to print out by the document data is determined by whether or not the document data is stored in the shared directory, or whether or not the document data is attached to the electronic mail distributed to a plurality of people. If the need of storing the document data has been determined, the document data is stored in the image forming apparatus. • Patent number: 7551885
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing apparatus which not only judges the occurrence of multiple feeding with a high accuracy, but also can identify later the location of occurrence of the multiple feeding even if the document reading operation is continued after detecting the occurrence of a multiple feeding. The detection device (the detecting and reading section 53) detects the information storage media attached to the documents which are being fed one sheet at a time by the automatic document feeder 20 and from which the images are being read out. The determining section 56 detects based on the result of this detection the occurrence of multiple feeding in which a plural number of sheets of the document are conveyed in an overlapping state. The information recording section 54 writes the multiple feeding information, indicating that a multiple feeding has occurred, in the information recording medium of the document that was judged to have been fed in an overlapping state.

  • Publication number: 20070058189
Abstract: An image processing apparatus and an image processing method, which can determine the optimal copy conditions at the time of preparing printed material from the read out document without depending on image analysis, are provided. When forming images on a sheet, the attribution information and the status information (the print information) of the document whose image is formed on the sheet are written in the information recording medium attached to that sheet. At the time of preparing an printed material by reading this sheet as a new document, the print information is obtained from the information recording medium of that sheet, and the optimal set values related to the copy conditions of the printed material, such as the positions of staples, etc., are determined and displayed or set.
