  • Publication number: 20190264707
Abstract: An electric submersible pump assembly with integral heat exchanger, high-speed self-aligning bearings, and dual bearing thrust chamber is described. The described pump assembly, modules, and components may be used for operating an electric submersible pump at high speeds as well as over a wide range of speeds and flowrates without replacing downhole equipment. The described pump assembly may be shorter than comparable pump assemblies and may be assembled offsite, thereby leading to faster and easier installation with less down time. By operating over a wide range of speeds, the disclosed pump assembly allows the operator to reduce overall inventory, reduce down time for the well, and avoid other complications associated with replacing a pump assembly or other downhole components.

  • Patent number: 10130032
Abstract: An extension assembly for a processed crop storage tank on a combine. A closure assembly for a top opening on the tank has at least one panel with one surface area that is exposed to bound a part of an exterior space above the storage space with the closure assembly open. The extension assembly has a first extension panel with a first surface with a first area and a connecting system through which the first extension panel is operatively connected to the combine. The first extension panel is changeable between a deployed position and a stored position. In the deployed position the first surface and one surface define a combined exposed surface area that is greater than the first area of the first surface. The combined surface area is exposed to confine processed crop in the exterior space with the closure assembly open.

  • Publication number: 20180171107
Abstract: Processes for producing melamine octamolybdates having high thermal stability include a step of reacting molybdenum trioxide and melamine in an acidic aqueous system at a pH of less than or equal to about 4 to form a slurry of the melamine octamolybdate. The resulting melamine octamolybdate can be characterized by a decomposition onset temperature (or a temperature at a weight loss of 1%, or a temperature at a weight loss of 2%) on a thermogravimetric analysis curve of greater than 300° C., and is useful in polymer compositions as a smoke suppressant.

  • Publication number: 20170367264
Abstract: A harvesting unit with a combine, having a user cab. A harvesting apparatus, advanced by the combine, has a frame and a harvesting assembly on the frame configured to process severed crop over a width between spaced sides of the frame. A fluid delivery system discharges pressurized fluid in discrete streams each directed to at least one of: a) facilitate severance of crop by the harvesting assembly; and b) facilitate advancement of severed crop rearwardly in relationship to the frame for further processing. A user can selectively vary at least one of: a) a volume of pressurized fluid; and b) a direction of pressurized fluid in the discrete streams. A control system has at least one actuator accessible and operable from outside of the cab through a user input to cause the at least one of the volume of pressurized fluid discharged, and direction of the pressurized fluid, in the discrete streams to be varied.

  • Patent number: 9480203
Abstract: A harvesting apparatus having a frame to be advanced over an area in which a crop is grown and a harvesting assembly on the frame configured to process severed crop. The harvesting assembly is configured to advance severed crop laterally to a delivery location between the laterally spaced sides of the frame and to and through a feed housing. A fluid delivery system discharges pressurized fluid to at least one of: a) facilitate severance of crop; and b) facilitate rearward advancement of severed crop. The fluid delivery system has at least a first pressurized fluid source through which pressurized fluid is delivered to laterally spaced outlets. A cleaning assembly has a first cleaning conduit assembly for directing pressurized fluid from the first pressurized fluid supply source in at least a first stream that repositions unusable crop and debris to reduce buildup thereof in the vicinity of the feed housing.
