  • Patent number: 4375248
Abstract: A lifting apparatus comprising a basic support, a link-mechanism of the pantograph type extensively supported on the support, a platform provided on the link-mechanism, and driving devices actuated by hydraulic pressure to stretch the link-mechanism upwards. Each of the driving devices is comprised of a hydraulic cylinder, guiding members provided on opposite ends of the hydraulic cylinder, and a flexible connecting member. Both ends of the connecting member are connected respectively to upper and lower link levers of the link-mechanism, with the connecting member being in contact with the guiding member.
