  • Patent number: 9628997
Abstract: A carrier sense unit (121) of a PHS base station (12) periodically carrier-senses nearby radio waves and monitors whether radio wave interferences with a communication channel to be used for communication with a PHS terminal (13) is occurring. A communication channel management unit (122) ranks communication channels to be used for communication with the PHS terminal (13) based on a monitoring result by the carrier sense unit (121). When a request for acquiring or a request for switching to a communication channel to be used for communication with the PHS terminal (13) is made, a communication channel switching control unit (123) preferentially selects and allocates a communication channel ranked high as a communication channel where radio wave interference is not occurring from among usable communication channels ranked and managed by the communication channel management unit (122).

  • Publication number: 20140169360
Abstract: A base station generates a frame timing signal corresponding to a cell ID of the base station based on a correspondence relation between a plurality of cell ID candidates and N frame timing candidates that are spaced in time from each other where N is a natural number equal to or greater than 2. The base station transmits a synchronization signal corresponding to the cell ID of the base station at specific timing corresponding to the generated frame timing signal.

  • Patent number: 8028223
Abstract: Disclosed is a transmission device which transmits a systematic code obtained by adding parity bits to information bits. When the code rate of the systematic code is a value in a specific range determined by the decoding characteristic in a case where dummy bits are not inserted, a dummy bit insertion portion inserts dummy bits into the information bits and shifts the decoding characteristic, so that the code rate assumes a value outside a specific range determined by the decoding characteristic after shifting. An encoding portion performs systematic encoding of the information bits into which the dummy bits are inserted, and deletes the dummy bits from the results of the encoding to generate a systematic code, and a rate matching portion, performs rate matching such that the size of the systematic code is equal to a size determined by the physical channel transmission rate, and transmits the systematic code.
