  • Publication number: 20040226812
Abstract: In an apparatus capable of distilling and refining an easily polymerizable substance, piping is performed so that when a strainer in action is switched to a backup strainer, the strainer can be switched after removing the air in the backup strainer to replace the air in the backup strainer to a discharge liquid of a pump. According to the apparatus, switching the strainers installed on the upstream side of the pump for extracting a liquid of a vacuum distillation column which distills and refines the easily polymerizable substance can be performed with no trouble in the operation of the distillation column. When the apparatus comprises a means measuring a differential pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side of the strainer in action, the two or more strainers installed in parallel can be switched at proper times and the easily polymerizable substance can be produced efficiently.

  • Patent number: 6771202
Abstract: In a device for analog-to-digital converting an input signal, the input signal is applied to a plurality of delay units constituting a pulse delay circuit in order to change a delay time to be given by the delay units. The number of delay units through which a pulse signal has passed during one period of sampling clocks is numerically expressed. The A/D conversion device has a plurality of pulse position numerizing units that is used for A/D conversion. Sampling clocks of which the phases are different from one another are applied to the respective pulse position numerizing units. An adder summates numerical data items produced by the respective pulse position numerizing units so as to generate final numerical data representing a result of A/D conversion.

  • Patent number: 6000194
Abstract: A pair of first and second concrete layers (1, 2) spaced away from each other by a certain distance are connected to each other through a corrugated plate (3) having a uniform magnitude of amplitude so that there are formed a space between the concrete layers (1, 2). A weight of a concrete-made panel is decreased by this hollow structure. A corrugated plate (3) is designed to have a trapezoidal cross-section of rectangular corrugation. By sinking mountain and valley portions of the corrugated plate into the first and second concrete layers (1, 2), the concrete-made panel can have enhanced compressive strength in a direction of corrugation of the corrugated plate (3), and have enhanced rigidity because of diagonal members of a truss which keeps the concrete-made panel being kept to be a plane.

  • Patent number: 5849122
Abstract: A vehicle body panel having a honeycomb sandwich structure in which a honeycomb core is sandwiched between a first and a second plate includes a subhoneycomb panel formed by adhering the first plate to one major surface of the honeycomb core beforehand. The subhoneycomb panel is pressed against the second plate which is constituted by a part of a structural panel of a vehicle body with the intermediary of an adhesive layer, the other major surface of the honeycomb core being adhered to the second plate. The connection of the subhoneycomb panel to the second plate is performed after the structural panel has been connected to a strength member of the vehicle body, e. g. after a washing stage. Such a vehicle body panel with a honeycomb sandwich structure is achievable without resorting to any substantial modification of an existing vehicle body assembly line.
