  • Publication number: 20030016366
Abstract: A three-dimensional shape measuring method by which measurement of a three-dimensional shape is realized with an improved precision. Grid patterns comprising a plurality of one-dimensional grids 1, 2 and 3, each having a period and direction different from those of the others, are simultaneously projected upon objects to be measured, using different colors for each of the one-dimensional grids 1, 2 and 3. Subsequently, a grid image deformed in accordance with the three-dimensional shapes of the objects to be measured is imaged, the grid image is separated by colors into one-dimensional grid components of each color, a phase for each of the one-dimensional grid components is detected, and then, measurement values of the three-dimensional shapes are obtained on the basis of the detected phases. At the same time, by imaging the objects to be measured by use of white light, color information on the objects to be measured are measured as well.

  • Patent number: 6340278
Abstract: A stage (3) for holding a boom body (4), which is composed of a plurality of boom components (15, 41, 42), is mounted on a tower mast (2) so as to be turnable by means of a servomotor. A servomotor (56, 61) for turning the next boom component is provided on the distal end of each boom component. Each boom component is provided with a belt conveyor, and granule that is pulled up from the ground to the position of the stage (3) by means of a bucket (5) is transported by means of the conveyor and thrown out from a boom body end (66). As this is done, the respective turns of the stage 3 and each boom component are controlled in accordance with the rotation of the servomotor, and the boom body end (66) is controlled, whereby the granule can be thrown out into any desired position within a operable range.

  • Patent number: 4105335
Abstract: Film of a known refractive index whose thickness is to be measured is illuminated by a white light beam. Two wave fronts from both sides of the film are directed to an interferometer. The wave fronts are out of phase in accordance with the thickness of the film. The two wave fronts are amplitude-split, respectively, by the beam splitter of the interferometer. Two of the split wave fronts are tilted by tilting means in the interferometer. The other two split wave fronts, as well as the two tilted wave fronts, are directed to an interference surface. Thus, there is formed a white interference pattern on the interference surface. The white interference pattern has a middle peak and two side peaks. The space interval between these peaks is measured by a scanner. By knowing the peak-to-peak interval, it is possible to discriminate the space interval between both sides of the film.

  • Patent number: 4090102
Abstract: A flat type indicator tube is provided with a box-like cover glass on a substrate. The cover glass forms an air tight space together with the substrate. In the space, there are provided display sections each consisting of a plurality of anode segments disposed on the substrate, grid and cathode electrodes provided above the display sections. The cover glass is comprised of a flat major section, a side wall and a flange section. The flange section comprises a flat flange contacting the substrate through glass frit and a coupling portion so shaped as to receive one end portion of the exhaust tube therein. A projection is formed on and substantially perpendicular to the inner wall of the coupling portion of the flange section. The projection is contacted and serves to restrict undesired excessive insertion of the exhaust tube into the coupling portion. The exhaust tube is hermetically fixed between the coupling portion and the substrate through glass frit.
