  • Publication number: 20060047978
Abstract: The CPU 11 of the personal computer 1 controls the CPU 32 of the adaptor 26 made of a semiconductor ID to compute a hash value of a content-managing music data base recorded in the HDD 21 and store it into the nonvolatile memory 34. When playing back a content recorded in the HDD 21, the CPU 11 computes the hash value of the music data base recorded in the HDD 21, compares it with hash values stored cumulatively in the nonvolatile memory 34, and controls the playback of the content from the HDD 21 based on the result of the comparison.

  • Patent number: 7007012
Abstract: A music piece managing unit judges whether or not a music piece file name corresponding to a music piece ID received from a playing processing unit exists in a corresponding music piece file storing unit, and in the event that judgment is made that the file name does not exist, a drive letter in the obtained file name is changed to the drive letter of a currently-connected drive, thereby generating a new file name. The music piece managing unit then judges whether or not the newly-generated file name exists in the corresponding music piece file storing unit, and in the event that judgment is made that the file name exists, the file name of the music piece is updated to the newly-generated file name. Thus, music piece files can be readily searched for, even in the event that the configuration of the drives has been changed.

  • Publication number: 20050251690
Abstract: A content sharing system is disclosed that can efficiently execute copyright management and can promote the degree of freedom and convenience in sharing of content within a legal range of private utilization. A group management server places a plurality of content processing apparatuses in terms of a unit of an owner into a group registration and issues a notification of a group ID of the group. A content recording apparatus adds a recorder ID thereof to production content produced thereby. Further, a content reproduction apparatus controls reproduction of content based on a recorder ID read out from content and a reproduction permission ID list. If the different processing apparatuses have the same group ID, the recorder ID can be added to the reproduction permission ID list.

  • Publication number: 20050238325
Abstract: A copyright management system that manages the time limits of the reproduction of a plurality of pieces of content in a batch manner. A content reproduction apparatus has a storage unit storing a reproduction permission ID list and the valid period information of each group ID and a reproduction control block for controlling the reproduction of content data attached with the group ID. The reproduction control block reads the group ID from content data and, if the read group ID is contained in the reproduction permission ID list and the current time is not in excess of the valid period of this group ID, permits the reproduction of the content data; if the read group ID is not contained in the reproduction permission ID list or the current time is in excess of the valid period of this group ID, the reproduction control block restricts the reproduction of the content data.

  • Publication number: 20050215209
Abstract: An amplitude component and a phase component of a modulated signal are inputted into a power supply terminal and an input terminal of an RF power amplifier, respectively, and a modulated wave that is produced by demodulating an original modulated signal is obtained from the RF power amplifier. A supply voltage is supplied to an emitter follower and an operational amplifier via a switch group from a DC-DC converter group whose output voltages are sequentially different. As the supply voltage, any pair of outputs of DC-DC converters by the switch group is selected according to levels of the amplitude component, and provides them to the emitter follower and the operational amplifier. The emitter follower performs a DC conversion of the provided supply voltage to provide it to the RF power amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20050202789
Abstract: g(x) Storing means stores a correction function y=g(x) corresponding to the distortion of a high frequency power amplifier as a function of a voltage x provided to a power supply terminal of the high frequency power amplifier. Operating means receives the correction function g(x) and a complex vector modulation signal z provided from modulation signal generating means, then causes an inverse function g?1 to operate on the absolute value and the phase of the complex vector modulation signal z having undergone polar coordinate conversion, and thereby outputs z?=g?1(z). This data is provided to the high frequency power amplifier. Further, triangular wave storing means is provided for storing a triangular wave having the same amplitude as that of the modulation signal. Either the triangular wave signal outputted from the triangular wave storing means or the modulation signal z? is selectively provided to the high frequency power amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20050152471
Abstract: A transmitting device is provided, which is capable of outputting a modulated wave which suffers little deterioration in modulation accuracy, spectrum and the like, even in the case of using a high-frequency power amplifier in which the fluctuation in phase difference between input and output is large when a bias voltage is changed. A complex number table (6) outputs a complex number that compensates for a phase shift of a high-frequency power amplifier (5) in accordance with the value of the amplitude component of a modulated signal output from an envelope detecting section (2). A complex number multiplier (7) outputs a phase-compensated modulated signal to a quadrature modulator (4). An amplitude conversion table (8) converts the amplitude component output from the envelope detecting section into a value in a predetermined range that excludes zero.

  • Publication number: 20050136854
Abstract: In a range (R3) in which an amplitude component voltage (VA) of a modulation wave signal from an OFDM signal generation unit corresponds to the average output power, an output voltage of a first voltage conversion unit (voltage applied to a base or a gate) is fixed, thus allowing the class AB operation of a high-frequency power amplifier. In a range (R4) in which VA is larger than that in R3, the output voltage of the first voltage conversion unit is increased, thus varying the operating class of the high-frequency power amplifier from class AB to class A. In a range (R2) in which VA is smaller than that in R3, the output voltage of the first voltage conversion unit is decreased, thus varying the operating class of the high-frequency power amplifier from class AB to class B. The efficiency at the time of the average power can be improved without degrading the maximum output power of the high-frequency power amplifier included in a transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20040243610
Abstract: Even if contents data distributed over a network are once destroyed, the contents data are restored, as the copyright protection is maintained. A PC memorizes backup of distributed music contents on a hard disc, at the same time as it transmits the using log information of the music contents stored in the hard disc to an EMD server. If the music contents in the hard disc are destroyed, the PC acquires the using log information from the EMD server to reproduce the backup data memorized in the hard disc depending on the using log information.

  • Patent number: 6740953
Abstract: The present invention has an object to provide a high frequency integrated device which can obtain sufficient isolation even in a high frequency region of which handling frequency exceeds gigahertz[GHz]. In a semiconductor device having an element isolation structure obtained by trench isolation, in which an insulator fills the inside of a trench formed in a semiconductor substrate, the insulator filling the trench includes a conductive material region, and the conductive material region is grounded through coupling at high frequency. With this configuration, electromagnetic waves coupled to the conductive material inside the trench are propagated to ground, thereby preventing high-frequency interference with other regions.
