    Abstract: A plurality of connecting rods are attached to an injection device located opposite a stationary platen on a base structure of an injection molding machine. The stationary platen is provided with a magnetism generating unit formed of a permanent magnet, and the connecting rods are provided with a magnetic body. As the magnetism generating unit and the magnetic body are attracted to each other by magnetism, a nozzle of an injection unit is brought into contact with a mold. By this structure, the stationary platen can be prevented from inclining during nozzle touch operation.

    Abstract: An aligning device whereby an injection nozzle can be easily aligned with the sprue of a mold. A stationary platen has a locating hole formed therein and a tapered portion continuous with the locating hole and tapered in a direction such that the tapered portion broadens toward the injection nozzle side. An aligning jig to be fitted into the locating hole and the tapered portion is prepared. The jig has a recess formed in the center of an end face thereof and having a shape matching that of the distal end of the injection nozzle. The jig is fitted into the locating hole, and the injection nozzle is engaged with the recess to align the injection nozzle with the axis of the locating hole. Since the mold is attached to the stationary platen such that the axis of the sprue of the mold is aligned with that of the locating hole, the injection nozzle becomes aligned with the sprue.

    Abstract: A ball screw attached to a lower portion of a fixed platen is rotated, thereby moving a nut member forward and moving an injection device forward through a spring. By moving the injection device forward, a nozzle on a tip end of a screw cylinder is abutted against the fixed platen, and a nozzle touch force is applied to the fixed platen by a compressive force of the spring. A connection member is provided between an upper portion of the fixed platen and a front plate of the injection device so as to be able to connect or disconnect the fixed platen to or from the front plate. Even if the nozzle touch force acts on the fixed platen, the fixed platen is supported by the upper portion and the lower portion of the fixed platen and is prevented from falling down.

A magnet is attached to each surface of the movable section. A hole section is provided in an outer frame. A linear motor coil is provided on the linear motor fixed section so that it may face the magnet on the surface of the movable section. A screw shaft is rotated by a motor through a measuring shaft penetrating a center of the movable section. By driving the linear motor comprising the magnet and the coil corresponding to each other, the screw is moved and injected in an axial direction. The fixed section is detachable and a gap between the magnet and the coil can be easily adjusted.
