    Abstract: Techniques for optimizing technologies related to network path tracing and network delay measurements are described herein. Some of the techniques may include using an IPV6 header option and/or segment identifier field of a segment list or a TLV of a segment routing header as a telemetry data carrier. The techniques may also include using an SRv6 micro-segment (uSID) instruction to indicate to a node of a network that the node is to perform one or more path tracing actions and encapsulating the packet and forward. Additionally, the techniques may include using short interface identifiers corresponding to node interfaces to trace a packet path through a network. Further, the techniques may include using short timestamps to determine delay measurements associated with sending a packet through a network. In various examples, the techniques described above and herein may be used with each other to optimize network path tracing and delay measurement techniques.

    Abstract: A method for automatic detection of a medical instrument orientation for robotic surgery is presented. The method determines the orientation of a marker device attached to the medical instrument in relation to the robotic system by comparing movement information. The method compares the information about a movement of the marker device from a tracking system with the information about a movement of the robotic arm, which movement data can be acquired by the robotic system. The orientation of the medical instrument with respect to the robotic system can be determined automatically and used for subsequent calculations such as an automatic and efficient precise alignment to a target trajectory or a correct positioning assistance for a mechatronic arm. A computer-implemented medical method of automatically determining an orientation of a medical instrument base in relation to a robotic system is provided.

The charging circuit includes a first battery, a second battery and a motor winding. The processor determines a desired reference current of the motor winding, a first voltage of the first battery and a second voltage of the second battery, calculates a power loss for each of a plurality of conduction modes based on the desired reference current, the first voltage and the second voltage, wherein each of the plurality of conduction modes transfers charge between the first battery and the second battery, selects a conduction mode from the plurality of conduction modes that has a least power loss, establishes a duty cycle parameter for the selected mode, and applies the conduction mode and the duty cycle parameter to the charging circuit to transfer the charge.

The measurement of interference components may include an RSSI measurement of intra-cell CLI from an interfering uplink signal transmitted from an aggressor UE or a self-interference from an uplink channel of the UE. The uplink signal may be an SRS, and the CLI report may include the RSSI, an RSRP, and/or an RSRQ of the interference in the CSI-IM resources in the uplink channel. The CSI-IM resources and the CLI report may have various configurations.

The configuration is for a bandwidth part configured for subband full duplexing with an uplink subband. The UE transmit a reduced CSI report payload including a plurality of CSI values, the reduced CSI report payload having fewer bits than a size of an absolute CSI value times a number of subbands in the first plurality of subbands. The UE may reduce the number of bits in the CSI report payload using differential CSI values instead of absolute CSI values, reporting CSI values for only a subset of the subbands, or using a fallback subband configuration with equal sized subbands.

Techniques described herein support transmission of a transport block over multiple slots (TBoMS) with subband full duplex (SBFD) operation. For example, if a time domain resource allocation for a TBoMS includes both uplink slots and downlink slots configured with an uplink subband, a user equipment (UE) may determine which slots to use in accordance with a scheme for selecting available slots for the TBoMS from indicated candidate slots, and the UE may determine the transport block size based on the selected slots. In some examples, the UE may first determine the quantity of resource elements available in each of the different slot types, and then may determine the transport block size based on the quantity of resource elements available in each of the different slot types and the quantity of each of the different slot types.
