    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an endotracheal tube retainer for retaining an endotracheal tube. The endotracheal tube retainer has a clip to be supported on a head such that the clip is spaced apart in front of a mouth and is adjustable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the closed configuration, the clip defines a tube retention channel that may receive the endotracheal tube such that the clip grips the endotracheal tube to retain it in the clip. The open configuration releases the endotracheal tube such that the endotracheal tube is movable relative to the clip. The clip can be equipped with primary and secondary retention features for holding the clip closed. The clip can be opened and closed by one-handed operation. The retainer has a stabilizer extension used for stabilizing the endotracheal tube during one-handed operation of the clip.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a circuit with a first qubit (7) and a second qubit (3), wherein the circuit is configured such that the frequency of the first qubit (7) is different from the frequency of the second qubit (3), with a coupler (4) coupling the first qubit (7) and the second qubit (3), wherein a cross-resonance pulse is sent to the first qubit (7), wherein the amplitude of the cross-resonance pulse is selected such that the two-qubit phase error is minimal or at least substantially minimal in absolute values. The two-qubit phase error is determined by measuring the qubit Hamiltonian and measuring the coupling strength of the ZZ interaction in kilohertz precision. The invention can achieve high two-qubit gate fidelity.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for detecting and engaging participants in an online course that are not likely to attend the online course, is presented herein. Participants in an online course are responsible for attending the course by downloading instructional material and completing assignments through an online forum. Attending the online course causes interaction data and/or performance data to be generated and stored for each participant. The interaction and performance data for a particular participant may be analyzed to determine whether the particular participant is likely to not attend the online course during a future period. If the particular participant is not likely to attend the online course during the future period, an alert is a counselor to intervene and engage the participant. A counselor may follow up with the particular participant to make sure the participant is on track to attend and complete the online course.
