Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are described for delivering smart services. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method for delivering smart services includes defining a situation including subscriber context information based on private information of a service subscriber. The method also includes identifying an action to perform on behalf of the service subscriber during the first situation. The method further includes receiving a request to determine an availability of the service subscriber. The method still further includes determining that the service subscriber is in the defined situation based on current subscriber context information. The method also includes performing, in response to determining that the service subscriber is in the defined situation, the identified action on behalf of the service subscriber.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for protecting information on a user interface based on a viewability of the information are disclosed. According to one method, a viewing position of a person other than a user with respect to information on a user interface is identified. An information viewability threshold is determined based on the information on the user interface. Further, an action associated with the user interface is performed based on the identified viewing position and the determined information viewability threshold.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for selecting and presenting a route to a user. An exemplary embodiment includes storing a plurality of associations, each association between a route taken by a user and at least one safety characteristic of the route. Received from a particular user is a request for at least one recommended route to a destination point. A query is formulated based on user specified parameters, including an origination point, the destination point, and a safety characteristic, to obtain routes taken by other users. A plurality of routes taken by other users based on a safety characteristic of the routes and related to at least one of the origination point and the destination point is retrieved from the associations. At least one recommended route is recommended to the user based on at least one of the retrieved routes that most closely matches the specified parameters.

Abstract: A method for processing data entered using an electronic device and an electronic device capable of implementing the method is described. In one embodiment, the electronic device includes at least one multi-value key associated with at least two input data values. Each multi-value key includes a plurality of units and each input data value corresponds to at least one unit. The electronic device also includes an eye-tracking system that determines an area where a user is gazing by monitoring eye movements of the user, and an input value selection module coupled to the plurality of units and to the eye-tracking system. The input value selection module determines probabilistically which input data value was entered based on a value received from at least one unit and on the area where the user is gazing.

Abstract: A method for presenting a route includes receiving a starting point and a destination point and computing a route that includes a route segment between the two points. The method further includes determining, based on a user's travel history, whether the route segment is an unfamiliar segment, and identifying, based on the user's travel history, a road that is familiar to the user. The method includes providing, in a format that distinguishes the familiar road from the computed route, the computed route and the familiar road relative to the unfamiliar segment for presentation of the familiar road within a scaled range of the unfamiliar segment.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for providing a task reminder are disclosed herein. A computer readable medium including programming instructions for performing a method that includes identifying task information including a task location. The method includes receiving a location of a user of a mobile communication device. The method includes receiving historical presence information identifying least one of a number of times the user is present at the location and an amount of time the user is present at the location. The method includes providing a reminder of the task for presentation based on the historical presence information, the task location, and the location of the user.

According to one aspect, a method includes receiving an indication of first presentable content associated with a first subscription service. Metadata associated with the selected first presentable content is received. Based on the received metadata, it is determined whether second presentable content corresponding to the first presentable content is available from a second subscription service. Further, and indication is provided that the second presentable content is available.

Abstract: Organizing messages received and transmitted between at least two computer systems over a network is described. In one aspect, the method includes tracking where a user is gazing as the user is composing an outgoing message on a first computer system. During a composition time period in which the user is composing the message, a relevance rating for each of a plurality of gaze areas is determined. The relevance rating of a gaze area is based on a number of times the user's gaze dwells on the displayed message associated with the gaze area after the user's gaze is directed away from the displayed message. The method further includes identifying at least one displayed message that is related to the outgoing message based on the relevance ratings of each gaze area, and associating an identifier for at least one of the at least one related message with the outgoing message.

Abstract: An apparatus for identifying a location for naming includes a monitoring module that is configured to monitor actions taken by a user via a mobile communication device and to monitor a location of the mobile communication device when an action is taken by the user and at predetermined time intervals. The apparatus also includes a data store for storing user-specific location information and user-specific action information associated with the location monitored by the monitoring module and a location naming module that is configured to calculate a relevance rating of the location based on the user-specific action information associated with the location and on the user-specific location information, and to prompt the user to name the location based on its relevance rating.

Abstract: A method of providing a reminder of a task to be performed at a task location is disclosed herein. The method includes receiving a location of a user via a mobile communication device associated with the user at predetermined time intervals for tracking historical travel information of the user. The method includes receiving user specified task information that includes a task and a task location. The method includes storing the user specified task information. The method includes generating a reminder for the task based on a comparison of an estimated probability of the user traveling in a trajectory leading toward the task location and an estimated probability of the user traveling in a trajectory leading away from the task location.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for displaying windows on a graphical user interface based on relative priorities associated with the windows are disclosed. According to one method, relative priorities of a plurality of windows of a graphical user interface are determined. Further, relative priorities of a plurality of portions of at least one of the windows are determined. The windows are automatically arranged on the graphical user interface based on the relative priorities of the windows and based on the relative priorities of the portions. A higher priority window may cover a lower priority portion of a lower priority window to provide for a simultaneous viewing of the higher priority window and a higher priority portion of the lower priority window.

Abstract: A system and method provide parental and corporate control for a wireless camera. An administration authority web site is provided that enables an owner of a wireless camera to log into a server and establish a set of control policies that specify what actions on the phone are authorized for what user. The control policies are downloaded to the wireless camera, and the wireless camera is then operated such that a user of the wireless camera is only able to perform actions authorized by the control policies. In a further embodiment, a control policy is provided that requires the wireless camera to upload captured images to the server for review by the wireless camera owner. In addition, the images may be quarantined until the wireless camera owner authorizes their release to the user.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer program products for identifying sensitive data from a user-entered input sequence based on user-defined criteria. According to one method, user-defined criteria for identifying sensitive data within user-entered input sequences that include sensitive data and padding data are received. A request for sensitive data from a requesting agent is presented. A user-entered input sequence that includes sensitive data and padding data is received in response to the request for sensitive data. Sensitive data is identified within the user-entered input sequence using the user-defined criteria. The identified sensitive data is provided to the requesting agent in response to the request for sensitive data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for associating an image with a communication characteristic are disclosed. According to one method, a content characteristic of a first image may be identified. Communication of the first image may be monitored to identify a communication characteristic of the first image. Further, the content characteristic may be associated with the communication characteristic. The association between the content and communication characteristics may be used to associate a second image having the content characteristic with the communication characteristic.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for changing a communication quality of a communication session based on a meaning of speech data. Speech data exchanged between clients participating in a communication session is parsed. A meaning of the parsed speech data is determined to determine a communication quality of the communication session. An action is performed to change the communication quality of the communication session based on the meaning of the parsed speech data.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are described for creating smart services. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method for creating smart services includes defining a service associated with a service agent on a smart services platform. The service is based on a situation of a service subscriber and an event for interacting with the subscriber on behalf of the service. The method includes providing access to subscriber context information based on private subscriber information. The subscriber context information is used in determining a current situation of the subscriber. The method also includes allowing, via the service agent on the smart services platform, the service to use the subscriber context information to generate a response to the event on behalf of the subscriber without the service having direct access to the private subscriber information.

According to one method, a content characteristic of a first image is identified. A communication characteristic of a communication associated with the first image is identified. The content characteristic is associated with the communication characteristic. The content characteristic of the first image is identified in a second image. The communication characteristic is associated with the second image based on the association between the content characteristic and the communication characteristic.
