According to one method, user-defined criteria for identifying sensitive data within user-entered input sequences that include sensitive data and padding data are received. A request for sensitive data from a requesting agent is presented. A user-entered input sequence that includes sensitive data and padding data is received in response to the request for sensitive data. Sensitive data is identified within the user-entered input sequence using the user-defined criteria. The identified sensitive data is provided to the requesting agent in response to the request for sensitive data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for associating an image with a communication characteristic are disclosed. According to one method, a content characteristic of a first image may be identified. Communication of the first image may be monitored to identify a communication characteristic of the first image. Further, the content characteristic may be associated with the communication characteristic. The association between the content and communication characteristics may be used to associate a second image having the content characteristic with the communication characteristic.

Speech data exchanged between clients participating in a communication session is parsed. A meaning of the parsed speech data is determined to determine a communication quality of the communication session. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method for creating smart services includes defining a service associated with a service agent on a smart services platform. The service is based on a situation of a service subscriber and an event for interacting with the subscriber on behalf of the service. The method includes providing access to subscriber context information based on private subscriber information. The subscriber context information is used in determining a current situation of the subscriber. The method also includes allowing, via the service agent on the smart services platform, the service to use the subscriber context information to generate a response to the event on behalf of the subscriber without the service having direct access to the private subscriber information.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer program products for identifying sensitive application-layer data and controlling transmission of the data in a network. According to one method, sensitive data in a system resource is identified at an application layer. A packetization of the identified sensitive data is detected. A flag indicative of the presence of sensitive data is inserted in a packet having at least a portion of the identified sensitive data in response to identifying the sensitive data and detecting the packetization. The flag is inserted in a portion of the packet corresponding to a layer other than the application layer. Transmission of the packet is controlled in a network based on the flag.

Abstract: A system and method provide parental and corporate control for a wireless camera. An administration authority web site is provided that enables an owner of a wireless camera to log into a server and establish a set of control policies that specify what actions on the phone are authorized for what user. The control policies are downloaded to the wireless camera, and the wireless camera is then operated such that a user of the wireless camera is only able to perform actions authorized by the control policies. In a further embodiment, a control policy is provided that requires the wireless camera to upload captured images to the server for review by the wireless camera owner. In addition, the images may be quarantined until the wireless camera owner authorizes their release to the user.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for reconfiguring an operational mode of an input interface based on a privacy level are disclosed. According to one method, at least one of an environment in which data is being entered into a computer via an input interface and a destination for the data being entered is identified. An input interface privacy level is determined based on the identified at least one of the environment and the data destination. The input interface is reconfigured to operate in a mode corresponding to the determined input interface privacy level.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing a task reminder to be performed at a task location includes a monitoring module that monitors a location of a user via a mobile communication device associated with the user at predetermined time intervals for tracking historical travel information of the user, and a data store for storing the historical travel information and for storing user specified task information that includes a task and a task location. In an exemplary embodiment, the apparatus includes a reminder module that is configured to determine a reminder position as a position where an estimated probability of the user traveling from the reminder position at a particular time in a trajectory leading away from the task location exceeds an estimated probability of the user traveling from the reminder position at that same time in a trajectory leading toward the task location by a threshold value. The reminder module generates a reminder of the task when the reminder position is identified.
