Publication number: 20250106888Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may receive a set of candidate resources, which may be used for transmission. The WTRU may periodically perform CCA on a channel (e.g., before transmitting on the channel). When the channel is determined to be free, the WTRU may determine a resource for transmission from the candidate resources. The resource may be determined based on the time remaining in the time period. For example, when the time remaining in the time period is shorter, the WTRU may determine to transmit on a resource that comprises more frequency resources. The WTRU may determine a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) scheme based on the number of frequency resources. The WTRU may send a transmission on the resource, which may include a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS). The DM-RS may indicate the resource used from transmission to a receiver of the transmission.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Applicant: InterDigital Patent Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Janet A. Patent number: 12262397Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive downlink control information (DCI) including a downlink grant. Further, the WTRU may receive a downlink transmission scheduled by the downlink grant. Also, the WTRU may determine a start time for an uplink transmission, wherein the uplink transmission includes hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) information, wherein the HARQ-ACK information is based on the downlink transmission. In addition, the WTRU may determine an available processing time associated with the HARQ-ACK information. On a condition that the determined start time for the uplink transmission is later than an uplink symbol time that is at least the determined available processing time after the end of a time unit at the end of the downlink transmission, the WTRU may transmit the uplink transmission including the HARQ-ACK information.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2024Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: InterDigital Patent Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Janet A. Patent number: 12262429Abstract: There may be one or more systems, methods, and/or devices that address a relay wireless communication scenario. For example, in such a scenario, there may be at least three entities, a remote a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may need to communicate with a network node (e.g., gNB) and/or another WTRU that it cannot directly communicate with. This remote WTRU may communicate with a relay WTRU in order to communicate with the ultimate destination (e.g., another WTRU or a network node). The use of a relay may require establishment and configuration of one or more entities involved.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2024Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: InterDigital Patent Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Martino Freda, Jaya Rao, Tuong Hoang, Tao Deng, Moon Il Lee

Patent number: 12262358Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a time division duplex (TDD) uplink (UL)/downlink (DL) configuration. Also, the WTRU may receive restriction pattern indication information. The WTRU may determine, based on both the received TDD UL/DL configuration information and the received restriction pattern indication information, one or more time intervals to use for transmitting one or more physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition transmissions. Further, the WTRU may transmit a PUSCH. Also, the WTRU may transmit at least one PUSCH repetition transmission. In addition, the WTRU may transmit at least one PUSCH repetition transmission in at least one of the determined one or more time intervals to use for transmitting UL repetitions, wherein the at least one PUSCH repetition transmission is a repetition of the PUSCH transmission. In an example, the TDD UL/DL configuration information may be included in a system information block (SIB).Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2024Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: InterDigital Patent Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Moon-il Lee, Pouriya Sadeghi, Janet A. Publication number: 20250096989Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a PDCCH transmission comprising a CCE that is mapped to one or more REGs based on a CCE-to-REG mapping. The WTRU may receive the CCE-to-REG mapping that indicates a REG bundle corresponding to the CCE and use the CCE-to-REG mapping to identify the REGs for the WTRU. Depending on whether the CCE-to-REG mapping is interleaving or noninterleaving, the CCE-to-REG mapping may be based on different parameters. If the CCE-to-REG mapping is interleaving, the CCE-to-REG mapping may be based on an index associated with the CCE and a number of REGs in the REG bundle. If the CCE-to-REG mapping is noninterleaving, the CCE-to-REG mapping may be based on the index of the CCE.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2024Publication date: March 20, 2025Inventors: Mahmoud Taherzadeh Boroujeni, Moon-il Lee, Afshin Haghighat, Shahrokh Nayeb Nazar, Oghenekome Oteri
