    Abstract: A system, method, and device for ensuring a number of Phase Tracking Reference Signal(s) (PT-RSs) are the same for multiple slots. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive control information including a number of scheduled resource blocks (RBs) then determine a PT-RS density based on the number of scheduled RBs. The WTRU may determine a RB offset value for the WTRU based on a WTRU-ID modulo the maximum RB offset value, where the maximum value for the RB offset value may be based on at least one of the number of the scheduled RBs and the PT-RS density. The WTRU may then transmit or receive a signal with PT-RS based on the RB offset value.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for use in a base station for transmitting information blocks is disclosed. A base station transmits a plurality of beams to a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU). Further, the base station transmits broadcast information, using a beam of the plurality of beams, the transmitted broadcast information including a first information block and a second information block. Responsive to information in the transmitted second information block, the base station may receive a random access preamble. After the reception of the random access preamble, the base station may transmit a random access response. Responsive to information in the transmitted random access response, the base station may receive a message including control information indicating additional information blocks that the WTRU is requesting to receive. After reception of the received message, the base station may transmit the additional information blocks.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions. A WTRU may transmit uplink control information (UCI), for example, by encoding the UCI, distributing the coded bits to at least one symbol set, and transmitting at least one sequence over resources of at least one symbol set. A sequence for a (e.g., each) symbol set may be selected from a set of candidate sequences. The number of symbol sets and/or candidate sequences may depend on the number of coded bits assigned to the symbol set. A WTRU may determine a parameter of a transmission (e.g., a number of symbol sets), for example, based on an estimation of Doppler. Transmission may be performed in multiple resource blocks (RBs). Hopping of base sequence and/or cyclic shift may be used, for example, for interference randomization. Unequal error protection may be used for different types of UCI.

A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) for sidelink communication may receive a resource pool identity (ID). Further, the WTRU may determine whether to include information related to demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) density for a sidelink transmission in sidelink control information (SCI) based on the resource pool ID. On a condition that the information related to DM-RS density is to be included in the SCI, the WTRU may transmit the SCI including the information related to DM-RS density. Also, the SCI may be associated with a PSSCH. Accordingly, the WTRU may transmit the sidelink transmission on the PSSCH with one or more DM-RSs at a first DM-RS density based on the information related to DM-RS density.

The reference signal may have a sequence derived from a beam index associated with the one of the subset of the plurality of transmit beams.

The WTRU may also receive a grant in a common DL subframe. The WTRU may apply the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process timing associated with one of the TDD UL/DL configurations for DL HARQ feedback. Also, the WTRU may monitor a set of subframes for a UL or a DL grant. Further, the WTRU may receive a grant in a subframe which may include an indication of a reference TDD UL/DL configuration. The WTRU may then apply the HARQ process timing associated with the reference TDD UL/DL configuration for DL HARQ feedback.
