    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a face protector having a protective shade that enables the worker to perform welding as well as grinding while wearing the multi-function face protector and that can be used with safety glasses, goggles and a mask. The multi-function face protector includes a head band, a forehead cover, and a face shield. The face shield comprises resilient hooks formed at its upper central portion, and engaging portions formed at its opposite ends respectively. The forehead cover comprises shield couplings formed at the central portion of its inner surface, and projections formed at the opposite ends of its inner surface respectively. The resilient hooks of the face shield are engaged with the respective shield couplings of the forehead cover.

    Abstract: An anti-glare eye protection apparatus includes an anti-glare eye protection plate, an optical detector, an electromagnetic wave sensor, an electromagnetic wave detector, a user interface, a main controller, and a light transmittance controller. The electromagnetic wave sensor senses an electromagnetic wave generated by a welding or cutting torch using at least two coils. The electromagnetic wave detector compares a signal received through the electromagnetic wave sensor with a reference value. The user interface includes a display for selecting or displaying one of the optical and electromagnetic wave detectors. The main controller applies an electromagnetic wave detector activation signal to the electromagnetic wave detector as the optical detector starts optical detection and monitors changes in a received electromagnetic wave signal based on output of the electromagnetic wave detector.

    Abstract: A welding helmet includes a helmet body for covering the face of an operator, an opening in a front surface of the helmet body, a cartridge for protecting the eyes of the operator from light generated during a welding operation, and structure including hooks projected from an upper side of the opening in the helmet body, pressing projections projected from both sides of the opening in the helmet body, hooking projections projected from an upper side of the cartridge to engage with the hooks, and fitting projections from both sides of the cartridge to fit to the pressing projections, the aforementioned structure removably engaging the cartridge to the helmet body. Fumes generated upon welding or cutting are prevented from directly flowing into the helmet body and injurious light generated upon welding is blocked. The cartridge can be readily removed for repair or replacement.

The cushion pad structure comprises a cushion pad which has a plurality of slip-prevention pieces formed at an inner peripheral surface thereof, and a groove defined at an outer peripheral surface thereof, and a fixing clip which is configured to be engaged in the groove of the cushion pad, and has upper and lower U-shaped fastening pieces formed at both lateral ends thereof. The fixing clip is formed, using an injection molding process, such that it is integral with the cushion pad.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an protective goggle for industrial purpose, which permits good ventilation of air, thereby preventing the inner surface of a goggle lens from fogging with moisture of a wearer's perspiration, while efficiently discharging heat at the same time. The protective goggle includes a goggle body, a lens secured at a front portion of the goggle body, and a strap having both ends respectively connected to opposite lateral portions of the goggle body. The protective goggle further includes a pad attached to a rear end of the goggle body, while having a plurality of uniformly spaced protrusions functioning as a cushion. Air inlets each having through holes are formed at lower and lateral portions of the goggle body respectively. Air vent units are mounted on a top surface of the goggle body. Each of air vent units serves to control an amount of air introduced into the interior of the goggle body using a damper.
