  • Publication number: 20240015746
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling scheduling a frequency division multiplexed (FDM) uplink shared channel message. The control signaling may include a resource allocation for a set of resource blocks (RBs), the resource allocation indicating an interlace assignment and an RB set assignment. The UE may allocate, according to a rule, the set of RBs into a first group of RBs and a second group of RBs based on the interlace assignment and the RB set assignment. The UE may transmit the FDM uplink shared channel message including the first group of RBs and the second group of RBs. The first group of RBs may be transmitted in accordance with a first set of transmission parameters and the second group of RBs may be transmitted in accordance with a second set of transmission parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240014965
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques allow a user equipment (UE) to efficiently identify a trigger state that is linked to a configuration for receiving and measuring reference signals from a transmission and reception point (TRPs). The UE may receive an indication of different lists of trigger states associated with different TRPs, and, when the UE receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating a trigger state index, the UE may reference an appropriate list to identify the trigger state corresponding to the trigger state index. In particular, the UE may determine a control resource set (CORESET) pool index of a CORESET in which the DCI is received, and the UE may identify the trigger state corresponding to the trigger state index from a list of trigger states associated with the CORESET pool index.

  • Patent number: 11864109
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently monitoring for wake-up signaling from one or more transmission and reception points (TRPs), the wake-up signaling indicating the presence of data or control information in an on-duration state of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. In particular, select TRPs may be used to transmit wake-up signaling to a user equipment (UE), and the UE may be configured to monitor for wake-up signaling from the select TRPs. Once the UE receives wake-up signaling prior to an on-duration state of a DRX cycle from any of the select TRPs, the UE may then determine the TRPs scheduled to transmit data or control information in the on-duration state (e.g., based on the WUS or based on further control signaling), and the UE may receive the data or control information from the TRPs in the on-duration state.

  • Patent number: 11864216
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may be configured with one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. A base station may transmit a first downlink control information (DCI) transmission to the UE that activates an SPS configuration, and the first DCI may indicate a non-numeric feedback timeline for reporting associated acknowledgment feedback. The base station may transmit a subsequent second DCI transmission that provides feedback resources, and the UE may receive the second DCI and identify timing and resources for SPS acknowledgment feedback based on the second DCI. The UE may then transmit the acknowledgment feedback for one or more SPS transmissions in the feedback resources that are indicated by the second DCI transmission.

  • Publication number: 20230422180
Abstract: In a wireless network, a user equipment (UE) may be unable to determine a default path loss reference signal associated with an uplink transmission if the uplink transmission is transmitted using abeam associated with a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state and/or the uplink transmission and/or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling the uplink transmission is associated with a repetition configuration. In such cases, depending on a type associated with the uplink transmission, the UE may determine the default path loss reference signal based on the repetition configuration associated with the PDCCH and/or a TCI state for an uplink control channel or uplink reference signal. Accordingly, the UE may perform an uplink power control operation for the uplink transmission using the default path loss reference signal determined based on the repetition configuration associated with the PDCCH and/or the TCI state for the uplink control channel or uplink reference signal.
