Publication number: 20240136768Abstract: A connector mating structure includes a male connector and a female connector mated with each other. The female connector includes a mating securing member. In a state where the male connector and the female connector of the connector mating structure are in a mating state and the mating securing member is positioned in a mating securing position, a forward end of a female locking section is positioned between an upper locking protrusion and a protrusion of an upper locking section. In this manner, assembling instability between a male housing, a female housing and the mating securing member in a forward-rearward direction is suppressed. Furthermore, a short circuit spring is in elastic contact with a short circuit release section and thus presses the female housing upward. In this manner, assembling instability between the male housing, the female housing and the mating securing member in an upward-downward direction is suppressed.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Applicant: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Motoyoshi SUZUKI, Tomoyoshi FUKAYA, Masatoshi NAKAMURA

Patent number: 8043111Abstract: Either of first and second corrugated tubes having different groove (or ridge) pitches can be mounted on a connector 10. In this case, the distance between a first retaining projection 32 and a second retaining projection 34 is a common multiple of these pitches, and therefore either of the two different corrugated tubes can be properly retained on both of the first and second retaining projections 32 and 34. Furthermore, either of the first and second corrugated tubes 50 and 52 of different diameters can be properly fixed to a tube insertion portion 20 by a binding band passed through binding band passage holes 30.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2008Date of Patent: October 25, 2011Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Toshiharu Takahashi, Motoyoshi Suzuki, Kenji Kajikawa

Patent number: 7537469Abstract: A housing 12 is connectable to a mating connector, and has inwardly-projecting housing bosses 41a and 41b. A lever 2 includes engagement portions 21a and 21b engageable respectively with the housing bosses 41a and 41b, and a lever boss 21e for retaining engagement with a retaining portion formed on the mating connector. Guide portions 21c and b 21d for guiding the insertion of the lever 2 into the housing 12 are formed at the lever 2, and a relief portion 41c for the passage of the lever boss 21e therethrough during the insertion is formed at the inside of the housing 12. At the time of starting the insertion of the lever 2 into the housing 12, the distance between each guide portion 21c, 21d and the corresponding housing boss 41a, 41b is smaller than the distance between the lever boss 21e and the relief portion 41c.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2008Date of Patent: May 26, 2009Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Toshiharu Takahashi, Motoyoshi Suzuki, Kenji Kajikawa, Akitoshi Sagisaka
