The flat panel display has an improved adhesive property between a pixel definition layer and a planarization layer, which prevents a chipping phenomenon of the pixel definition layer.

The LITI apparatus uses a magnetic force to provide a close contact between the transferable layer and the surface of the intermediate device. The magnetic force is generated by magnetic materials formed in two components of the LITI apparatus that are spaced apart interposing transferable layer and the surface of the intermediate device. Magnets or magnetic materials are formed in the two following components of the LITI apparatus: 1) the intermediate device and the film donor device; 2) the intermediate device and the contact frame; 3) the substrate support and the film donor device; or 4) the substrate support and the contact frame.

The OLED display may include a substrate, a translucent layer formed on the substrate, a first electrode formed on the translucent layer, an organic light emitting member formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode formed on the organic light emitting member and including a reflective material. According to some aspects, the thickness of the organic light emitting member of the pixels forming the OLED display may be different than one another, or portions of each pixel may have different thickness for the organic light emitting members forming the pixel. With different thicknesses, the optical characteristics of the pixels forming the OLED display may be effectively compensated for luminance and color purity. As a result, the lateral viewing angle of an OLED display may be improved.
