  • Patent number: 11366744
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products are described herein that can be used to help achieve a safe rollout of software in a production datacenter environment. In accordance with certain embodiments, cloud services requests from certain users of a cloud services system (e.g., users that are authorized to receive cloud services via computing devices running test versions of infrastructure software) are dynamically matched to clusters (groups of commonly-managed computing devices called nodes) that are capable of providing the requested services on nodes running test versions of infrastructure software. Within such clusters, the requested services are provided to the users on a subset of cluster nodes that run a test version of an infrastructure software component, while the remaining cluster nodes are not running the particular test version.

  • Publication number: 20220179697
Abstract: A workload adaptation service of a provider network may perform smart deployment of industrial an IoT workload across resources of a provider network and a client network. The workload adaptation service may receive, from a user, an indication of one or more constraints for performance of a workload (e.g., daily upload limit, maximum acceptable latency). The service determines a deployment for the workload across client resources and provider resources based at least on the constraints. The service deploys portions of the workload to the client network and other portions to the provider network according to the deployment. The workload adaptation service may also perform dynamic adaptation of the IoT workload by moving portions of the workload from the client network to the provider network or vice-versa, based on workload performance metrics or based on changes to the available resources.

  • Publication number: 20220171401
Abstract: A method includes generating a parameter of a trajectory associated with a scenario using a path planner. The parameter is generated based on a training dataset. The method includes comparing the parameter of the trajectory against a validation parameter associated with a validation dataset. The validation parameter is based on human-based vehicle driving trajectory data associated with scenarios that satisfy a level of similarity with the scenario. The method further includes determining a level of similarity between the parameter associated with the scenario and the validation parameter associated with the scenarios, and, subsequent to determining that the level of similarity fails to satisfy a similarity threshold, the method concludes with providing training data associated with the scenario to the training dataset so that a subsequent parameter of a subsequent trajectory generated by the path planner and associated with the scenario satisfies the level of similarity against the validation parameter.

  • Publication number: 20220138927
Abstract: This disclosure relates to automatic determination of locations of one or more closely spaced donor atoms implanted into a semiconductor crystal lattice. A processor receives image data generated by a scanning tunnelling microscope (STM). The image data is indicative of a tunnelling current between a scanning tip and the crystal lattice at multiple image locations. The processor applies a trained machine learning model to the image data to determine a classification into one of multiple candidate configurations of the one or more donor atoms. The multiple candidate configurations relate to different locations of the one or more donor atoms in the semiconductor crystal lattice. Based on an output of the trained machine learning model, the processor determines the location of the one or more donor atoms in the semiconductor crystal lattice.
