  • Publication number: 20220174727
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), an indication of a random access (RA) channel (RACH) preamble. The RACH preamble is a member of a first set of RACH preambles reserved for positioning purposes, the first set of RACH preambles is different from a second set of RACH preambles reserved for communication purposes, and the first and second sets of RACH preambles are associated with the BS. The UE detects, while in a radio resource control (RRC) idle or RRC inactive state, a positioning event. The UE transmits, to the BS, the RACH preamble. The UE receives, from the BS, a RA response for positioning purposes that is different from a RA response for communication purposes, the RA response for positioning purposes including a random access preamble identifier that is mapped to the RACH preamble.

  • Publication number: 20220156304
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to identifying and quantifying relationships between entities. Data sources can be queried to receive data regarding a party. Entities can be extracted from the data to receive a set of entities, wherein the party is a first entity of the set of entities. An ontological structure can be built that interrelates entities within the set of entities. An initial relationship strength can be determined between the first entity and a second entity based on co-occurrence between the first and second entities, wherein the second entity is a second party. A relationship score can be calculated between the first and second entities based on the initial relationship strength and at least one additional factor.

  • Patent number: 11337133
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide an optimal communication channel recommendation engine by assessing whether the environment the customer is situated in is conducive to the channel selected by the customer. Specifically, the optimal channel recommendation engine obtains data artifacts indicative of ambient noise, motion, customer sentiment, network quality, customer focus, and/or the like to assess quality of the environment and recommend an optimal channel for the communication between the customer and the call agent. With the recommendation to switch to a different channel, the client component resumes communication with the new channel and retains the context of the interaction.

  • Publication number: 20220065978
Abstract: A user equipment uses positioning reference signals (PRS) and non-PRS signals for position measurements. The non-PRS signals may be downlink and sidelink signals wherein the non-PRS are downlink or sidelink signals that are transmitted for purposes unrelated to positioning. Positioning assistance data is provided to the UE that associates the non-PRS signals with PRS-IDs. The association of the non-PRS signals to the PRS-IDs may be provided by a location server or serving base station. After performing positioning measurements using non-PRS signals, the UE reports measurement information using the PRS-IDs to identify the non-PRS signals used to generate the positioning measurements.
