  • Patent number: 11716653
Abstract: A transport path group for uplink transmission over a fronthaul interface. The transport path group may include (i) an address of a first source port of a radio unit (RU), (ii) an address of a first destination port of a distributed unit (DU), and (iii) an address of a second source port of the RU, an address of a second destination port of the DU, and/or a flow identifier (e.g., a virtualized local area network (VLAN)). A request for user data conveyed by the DU and received by the RU may identify the transport path group. The RU may use the fronthaul interface to convey to the DU first and second portions of the requested user data over first and second different paths from the RU to the DU. The RU may employ load balancing parameters to convey the first and second portions of the requested user data.

  • Publication number: 20230214400
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for searching across multiple user interfaces are provided. For example, a search query may be received from a user of a computing environment. A set of user interfaces, hosted by the computing environment, may be identified (e.g., mobile apps of a mobile operating system, browser tabs of a web browser, etc.). Content within the set of user interfaces may be queried using the search query to identify search results of the search query (e.g., webpages, social network posts, emails, or other content matching the search query). In an example, cached content of the user interfaces (e.g., recently accessed emails cached within a local content buffer cache by the web browser) may be searched using the search query for efficient querying of relevant content, such as through local or offline querying. The search results may be provided to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230198938
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of using entity name mapping for routing network traffic having encrypted SNI headers. A name resolution request that specifies an entity name is intercepted. Translation of the entity name to a representation of an IP address associated with the entity name is caused. A mapping that cross-references the representation of the IP address to the entity name is stored. A data transfer request that requests establishment of a connection to a destination corresponding to the representation of the IP address is intercepted. The data transfer request includes an encrypted SNI header and a payload. Establishment of the connection to the destination is initiated by providing the encrypted SNI header, the payload, and metadata toward the destination. The metadata includes the entity name based on the mapping.

  • Patent number: 11681720
Abstract: A method includes receiving a first search term and a second search term and using the first search term to search a first system that associates the first search term with a plurality of people to retrieve a respective identifier for each of the plurality of people. The second search term and the plurality of identifiers are used to search a second system that associates the second search term with a second plurality of people. The second system returns a count of the number of people who are in both the first plurality of people and the second plurality of people but is prevented from associating the first search term with a person and from releasing the association between the second search term and the second plurality of people. The count is returned as the number of people who have both the first search term and the second search term.

  • Patent number: 11662922
Abstract: In some examples, a system allocates a plurality of partitions of a shared storage to respective data services. Based on respective utilizations of the plurality of partitions, the system selects, for a given data service of the data services, between a global storage apportionment process to rebalance shares of the shared storage among the data services, and a local storage apportionment process, where the rebalancing includes releasing a partition of the given data service, and the local storage apportionment process comprising freeing segments within the partition of the given data service.

  • Publication number: 20230160867
Abstract: A system includes a gas detector to detect a gas leak and notify a gas meter of a gas level of the gas leak. The gas meter receives the notification about the gas leak from the gas detector, and compares the gas level detected by the gas detector with a threshold level. The gas meter determines if the detected gas level is greater than the threshold level to determine whether to turn off a gas valve due to the detected gas level. The system also includes a head end system configured to receive notification of the detected gas level and status of the gas valve from the gas meter.

  • Publication number: 20230108653
Abstract: Mitigating particulate intrusion to an air intake system of a gas turbine system with intrusion protective coatings tailored to locale of operation. A particulate intrusion protective coating is applied to a surface of a component of the air intake system to mitigate ingress of particulates within the air intake system and the gas turbine system. The particulate intrusion protective coating includes one or more particulate ingress influencing properties tailored to the common attributes of the particulates associated with the locale of operation of the gas turbine engine and the air intake system. The particulate ingress influencing properties affect rebounding and coalescing characteristics of the particulates at a point of impact with the applied surface having the particulate intrusion protective coating, entraining the particulates at the point of impact and inhibiting further ingress along an inlet air flow path of the air intake system into the gas turbine engine.

  • Patent number: 11595352
Abstract: The devices and methods relate to web categorization of web requests. The devices and methods may perform a two-step classification of the web requests. The first classification may provide potential web categories for web request based on a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the web request. The first classification may be used to determine whether transport layer security (TLS) termination may be performed on the web request. The second classification may provide a web category for a uniform resource locator (URL) of the web request after performing the TLS termination. The web category may be used by a firewall in filtering web traffic for the web request.

  • Patent number: 11593163
Abstract: The embodiments disclosed herein relate to using machine learning to allocate a number of concurrent processes for minimizing the completion time for executing a task having multiple subtasks. Historical data comprising a variety of subtask types with actual completion times is mined to create a set of statistical models for predicting completion time for a type of subtask. To minimize the total time to complete execution of a new task, a certain number of threads is allocated to execute subtasks of the new task. The certain number of threads is determined based on the predicted completion time for the subtasks using the respective statistical model. Threads are assigned to subtasks based on the predicted completion time for the subtasks, and the subtasks assigned to each thread are scheduled for execution.
