  • Publication number: 20230038670
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure control aging of a signal path in an idle mode to mitigate aging. In one example, an input of the signal path is alternately parked low and high over multiple idle periods to balance the aging of devices (e.g., transistors) in the signal path. In another example, a clock signal (e.g., a clock signal with a low frequency) is input to the signal path during idle periods to balance the aging of devices (e.g., transistors) in the signal path. In another example, the input of the signal path is parked high or low during each idle period based on an aging pattern.

  • Patent number: 11572965
Abstract: A system includes a gas distribution network having sub-networks including a first sub-network, each sub-network including a pipe section having a gas safety device coupled to a gas safety valve. The gas safety device includes a pressure sensor, a shut off controller configured to shut off the gas safety valve, a computing device, and a communications module. A server is communicably coupled to the communications modules of the gas safety devices for that implements artificial intelligence (AI) which based on a current threat condition to the gas distribution network determines affected sub-networks. The server is for sending of a valve closing instruction signal to the gas safety device in the first sub-network during the current threat condition when the current threat condition is determined to affect the first sub-network. Responsive to the valve closing instruction signal, the gas safety device shuts off the gas safety valve in the first sub-network.

  • Patent number: 11407779
Abstract: A process for the preparation of Molnupiravir, an antiviral drug under investigation for the treatment of Covid-19, is provided including reacting 2?-3?-isopropylidene cytidine with isobutyric anhydride in the presence of a base to obtain 5?-isobutyric ester having an amide impurity. Treating the reaction mixture with para-toluenesulphonic acid monohydrate results in acetonide deprotection giving pure isobutyric cytidine tosylate salt which is free from the amide impurity. Conversion of tosylate salt into free base and reacting with hydroxylamine gives Molnupiravir.

  • Publication number: 20220195868
Abstract: This disclosure presents a process for communications in a borehole containing a fluid or drilling mud, where a conventional mud pulser can be utilized to transmit data to a transducer. The transducer, or a communicatively coupled computing system, can perform pre-processing steps to correct the received data using an average of a moving time window of the received data, and then normalize the corrected data. The corrected data can then be utilized as inputs into a machine learning mud pulse recognition network where the data can be classified and an ideal or clean pulse waveform can be overlaid the corrected data. The overlay and the corrected data can be fed into a conventional decoder or decoded by the disclosed process. The decoded data can then be communicated to another system and used as inputs, such as to a well site controller to enable adjustments to well site operation parameters.
