  • Patent number: 11786310
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided in which local tissue diagnostic measurements are correlated with archival local tissue diagnostic data from prior tissue analyses to supplement diagnostic measurements with tissue analysis data from prior tissue analyses having similar local tissue diagnostic data. The tissue analysis data may include information such as pathology data, outcome data, and diagnosis data. The archived local tissue diagnostic data and the tissue analysis data may be stored in a database, and employed for a wide variety of methods, involving preoperative, intraoperative, and/or postoperative phases of a medical procedure. Methods and systems are also provided for displaying, on a medical image shown in a user interface, hyperlinked reference markers associated with tissue analyses, where the reference markers are shown at locations corresponding to local tissue analyses, and where associated diagnostic data and/or tissue analysis may be viewed by selecting a given reference marker.

  • Publication number: 20230054371
Abstract: A system is provided that receives a signal file that includes multiple biophysical signals obtained from a patient by a signal capture or recorder device. The biophysical signals are measured from one or more sensors or probes of the signal capture device. The system executes one or more add-on modules that is each configured to generate information relevant to the health of the patient. Such information may include a score that in some embodiments represents a probability that the patient has and/or will develop a particular medical condition. The information generated for a patient from the signal file for each add-on module are provided to a health care provider and may be used to assist the healthcare provider in diagnosing the patient with respect to one or more of the medical conditions.

  • Patent number: 11576726
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for identifying a suitable surgical location and/or trajectory for proceeding with a surgical procedure based on local polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography imaging (PS-OCT). PS-OCT images are obtained of a tissue region and are processed to provide a spatial map of anisotropic structure within the tissue region. The anisotropic structure is processed to determine one or more suitable surgical locations and/or trajectories for avoiding or reducing damage to local anisotropic tissue structure identified within the tissue region. The spatial map of the anisotropic structure is registered with pre-operative volumetric image data identifying anisotropic tissue structure within a second tissue region that is larger than the tissue region imaged by PS-OCT.
