  • Publication number: 20090155412
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of preparing trans fat-free oils and fats by an enzymatic interesterification (EI), and trans fat-free oils and fats prepared by the method. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: 1) mixing fully hydrogenated fat derived from vegetable oil with RBD olive oil; 2) adding lipase to the mixed oil and reacting the mixed oil with lipase at 65 to 80° C. for 1 to 4 hours (1st reaction step); and 3) reacting the mixed oil from step 2) with the lipase at 40 to 60° C. for 44 to 47 hours (2nd reaction step).

  • Publication number: 20090072839
Abstract: An apparatus and method to detect failure of an electrolytic capacitor that smoothes a DC voltage in an inverter circuit. The apparatus detects failure of a smoothing electrolytic capacitor in a motor drive inverter circuit that rectifies and smoothes an AC voltage through a rectifier and the smoothing electrolytic capacitor and converts a rectified and smoothed DC voltage into a 3-phase voltage to drive a motor. The apparatus includes a voltage meter, a current sensing unit, and a controller. The voltage meter measures a DC voltage of an inverter when the motor is not in operation. The current sensing unit measures a phase current of the motor when the motor is not in operation. The controller estimates an ESR value of the smoothing electrolytic capacitor from the DC voltage of the inverter and the motor phase current to detect failure of the smoothing electrolytic capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20060176855
Abstract: Disclosed are a handoff system and a method among heterogeneous networks. The handoff system among heterogeneous networks has plural access nodes which supports wireless communication with a mobile terminal; and a crossover node which selects resources of an access node to which a handoff is made without repetitive communications between access modes and the mobile terminal in selecting an access node. The handoff system performs a handoff to a network if resources of the network are sufficient for wireless communication.

  • Patent number: 7058017
Abstract: In wireless Internet, a resource reservation path is established between a CH and a MH through an initial BS located in an initial cell where the MH is currently located. Pseudo reservation paths (PRPs) are established between the initial BS and its neighboring BSs, one PRP being established between the current BS and each of the neighboring BSs. Once the MH moves into one of the neighboring cells of the initial cell, a PRP established for a neighbor BS is activated. The activated PRP is concatenated with the established resource reservation path through the initial BS and the neighbor BS, thereby establishing an optimized resource reservation path.

  • Patent number: 6519020
Abstract: An LCD module uses a flexible printed circuit (FPC) instead of a gate or a source drive printed circuit board (PCB) so that size of area by which a tape carrier package (TCP) is thermocompression molded can be substantially decreased and thus reducing a difference in the degree of thermal expansion between PCB and TCP. As a result, a slim and lightweight LCD module can be obtained, and a misalignment or a warpage of TCP can be prevented.
