    Abstract: A network access node identifies a component carrier within an unlicensed radio spectrum, determines whether or not to configure the component carrier for use as a secondary component carrier, and based on the determining configures the component carrier for use as a secondary component carrier companion to a primary component carrier within a licensed radio spectrum, In various non-limiting embodiments the network node senses the component carrier within the unlicensed radio spectrum, and as more data is needed to make the determination employs a mobile device to also sense and further to measure the component carrier within the unlicensed radio spectrum. Specific procedures are detailed for both the network node and the mobile device.

    Abstract: A method includes determining one of a multiplicity of subframes in a resource space in which a shortened subframe is to be communicated. Each of the subframes has a predetermined number of symbol positions. The resource space includes the multiplicity of subframes. The method includes communicating the shortened subframe in the determined subframe. The shortened subframe has a multiplicity of active symbols at first symbol positions in the determined subframe and has a multiplicity of blanked symbols at second symbol positions in the determined subframe. In an embodiment, each of the subframes is a first subframe carried on subcarrier. The resource space corresponds to a special subframe in a frame including the special subframe and a multiplicity of second subframes. The special subframe and the plurality of second subframes are located in different timeslots. Apparatus, computer programs, and program products are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus and computer program products are provided for rebalancing the sizes of downlink (DL) association sets for component carriers having different time division duplex subframe configurations. A method is provided that includes determining DL subframes that are included in a DL association set for each of a plurality of component carriers. In an instance in which the number of acknowledgement (ACK)/negative acknowledgement (NACK) bits corresponding to the DL subframes included in the DL association sets for respective component carriers differ by at least a predetermined amount, the method modifies the number of ACK/NACK bits corresponding to the DL subframes that are included in the DL association sets for each of the respective component carriers. The method may also cause transmission of the ACK/NACK bits in accordance with the DL association sets, as modified, via the respective component carriers. Corresponding apparatus and computer program products are also provided.

    Abstract: A container-type data center is provided in embodiments of the present invention, including a container, cabinets, computing devices, and cooling devices. The cabinets are arranged in rows inside the container. The computing devices are set inside the cabinets. Air enters from one side of each of the cabinets and exhausts from another side to form left-to-right air vents. The left-to-right air vents are connected in series. In the series air vents of the cabinets, multiple cooling devices are set. In the container, a maintenance passage is formed for maintaining the cabinets. Maintenance planes of the cabinets face the maintenance passage. In the embodiments of the present invention, the air enters from one side of each of the cabinets and exhausts from the other side to form the left-to-right air vents, and the maintenance planes of the cabinets face the maintenance passage. In this way, the maintenance convenience is greatly improved.
