    Abstract: The present invention provides a composition and method for functionalizing nanoparticles that enables them to undergo reversible aggregation/deaggregation. The aggregation properties of this new system are reversible and readily monitored by optical absorbance measurements with the possibility of electrical and/or magnetic monitoring as well. The outer portion of the coating material is functionalized with polyethylene glycol (PEG) entities that facilitate biocompatibility and stability both in solution and in the solid state. Also provided are nanoparticles functionalized with rationally designed free radical initiators to effect tailored polymer growth from the surface. These systems may be used for a broad variety of applications, including biosensing with real-time feedback.

The data is transferred from the first memory device to the second memory device in a sequence according to a respective priority associated with each of the different groups and in group-by-group manner such that units of the data assigned to a group having a higher priority are transferred to the second memory device prior to units of the data assigned to a group having a lower priority. The circuit unit is configured to be operated by being supplied with power using the radio waves. The antenna includes a pair of tag radiators. Each of the tag radiators is divided into a first region and a second region. The corrugation density of the second regions, which are close to the circuit unit, is greater than that of the first regions, which are not close to the circuit unit. The first regions, which depend on rotational motion of the tire, adapt flexibly to bending and torsion of the tire by the difference between the corrugation densities.
