  • Publication number: 20060050313
Abstract: When a network printer receives print data appended with related data from a client device via a network (S11), the related data is separated from the print data (S12) and stored in a predetermined region of a hard disk (S13). The print data is stored in the hard disk (S14) in correspondence with the related data. Then, printing is executed to print out the print data (S15). When a user requests display of the related data (S16:YES), the related data is displayed on a display (S17). The related data includes related image data and management data. When a user requests printing of the related data (S18:YES), a printer engine prints out the related data (S19). In this way, the user can select desired print data in a short period of time.

  • Publication number: 20050242605
Abstract: A container holder is disclosed. The container holder typically includes a concave portion which is formed on an outside of a utility vehicle and which is configured to be positioned forward of a driver's seat. A container may be put into or taken out of the container holder. The container holder has a pad configured to inhibit a container accommodated therein from disengaging from the container holder. When a small item is accommodated in the container holder, the pad serves as a lid.

  • Patent number: 6859130
Abstract: A multilayered coil is formed by inserting insulating paper 13 having either a pressure sensitive adhesive or an adhesive disposed on both faces thereof into at least one place between thin coil layers and then magnetic cores 15 are mounted to the multilayered coil from above and below. Thus, a thin transformer for a switching power supply is provided, in which variation in distance between coil 11 and coil 12, of which one is disposed over the other, variation in distance of coil 11 and coil 12 from magnetic core 15 and the like are suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6847662
Abstract: A wavelength-selectable laser with a resonance region formed by two reflecting surfaces include a gain medium generating a laser beam, a first filter, and a second filter. The first filter has a first controllable transmission region and transmits a first predetermined wavelength region of the laser beam generated in the gain medium, the first predetermined wavelength region matching the first controllable transmission region. The second filter has a plurality of periodically arranged second transmission regions and transmits a second predetermined wavelength region of the laser beam transmitted by the first filter, the second predetermined wavelength region matching one of the second transmission regions.

  • Publication number: 20040142158
Abstract: It relates to a brake material which has a coefficient of dynamic friction sufficient for exhibiting desired braking performance, and exhibits a wear resistance at least equal to or higher than that of a conventionally used C/C composite even under high temperature conditions. The brake material is characterized by comprising a C/C composite and a matrix comprising copper, and having a coefficient of dynamic friction of at least 0.01.

  • Publication number: 20040117498
Abstract: This invention provides a simultaneous packet transmission system and a simultaneous packet reception system which enable a reception side to receive simultaneous packets without transmitting a retransmission request to retransmit discarded simultaneous packets even if part of simultaneous packets are discarded. A wireless LAN base station multicasts a simultaneous packet which is obtained by allocating a sequence number to a LAN packet a plurality of times. If a wireless LAN terminal receives the same simultaneous packets a plurality of times, the wireless LAN terminal discards duplicated simultaneous packets and leaves only one simultaneous packet. Since the simultaneous packet is multicast a plurality of times, the wireless LAN terminal can receive the simultaneous packet as long as all the same simultaneous packets are not lost.

  • Publication number: 20040066763
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a packet transmission method wherein received packets are sorted into prioritized QoS packets and general packets other than the prioritized QoS packets, the sorted prioritized QoS packets are accumulated, the accumulated QoS packets are capsulated and then transmitted as a capsulated packet, and the capsulated packet is transmitted in matching with the period of a CODEC. In the preferred embodiment, there is provided a wireless LAN system comprising a base station and at least one wireless LAN terminal connected to said base station via a wireless LAN; and a packet transmission system for transmitting a packet between said base station and said at least one wireless LAN terminal via the wireless LAN, the packet transmission system. In the packet transmission system, a packet sorter sorts received packet into prioritized packets and packets other than the prioritized packets. A FIFO queue buffer (QoS queue) accumulates the sorted prioritized packets.

  • Publication number: 20040040804
Abstract: Disclosed are a composite material produced by arranging and forming, in an optional or specific form, composite portions including a plurality of protruding portions comprising at least silicon carbide and optionally metallic silicon and excellent in wear resistance and oxidation resistance on the surface of a C/C composite which is a composite carbon fiber or the surface of a molded product produced by molding the C/C composite in a desired shape depending on the use; and a composite material having substantially flattened surface on which at least composite portions are formed and which is obtained by cutting the protruding portions to nearly the same level as the surface of the sea. In this composite material, the low oxidation resistance of the C/C composite can be overcome and the material can be used at high temperatures and in the presence of oxygen. Furthermore, the material also has excellent wear resistance.

  • Patent number: 6643060
Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a multi-wavelength light source for stably generating a plurality of oscillated lights of arbitrary wavelengths by a simplified constitution. To this end, the multi-wavelength light source of the present invention is provided with an acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) on an optical path of a resonator including an optical amplifier, so that the AOTF selects lights of plural wavelengths from input lights corresponding to multiple surface acoustic waves at different frequencies, respectively, and shifts the frequencies of the selected lights to output the frequency shifted lights to the optical path, thereby realizing the stable multi-wavelength oscillation of lights being propagated within the resonator.
