  • Patent number: 11074441
Abstract: Image analysis processing is performed on a scanned image to detect a document area and, based on the detected document area, a tilt-corrected document image is obtained by extraction and tilt correction of the document image. Further, an image output size of printing an image in a repeat target area specified based on the tilt-corrected document image is specified, magnification of the image in the repeat target area is changed to the output size, and the image is repeatedly laid out within a specified sheet size. Thus, in an apparatus that generates a repeat layout processed output image and controls print processing, an image output size which is the same as an image output size for the front side of a sheet is specified for the back side of the sheet in a case where the repeat layout processing is performed on both the sides of the sheet.

  • Publication number: 20210182138
Abstract: A clock value converter in a CPU replaces a value of a carry counter in a safety clock in the CPU to cause the carry counter to show dispersed values. The CPU transmits a frame including a value of a time stamp and a first error detecting code generated based on the value of the time stamp and the value of the carry counter to a CPU. A clock value converter in the CPU causes, as in the CPU, a carry counter in a safety clock in the CPU to show dispersed values. An error detector in the CPU determines whether a second error detecting code generated based on the value of the received time stamp and a value of the carry counter in the safety clock in the CPU satisfies a condition set for the first error detecting code.

  • Publication number: 20210021059
Abstract: A connector is provided that is easy to assemble. A terminal fitting is arranged on a base of a housing, a conductor portion is inserted into a tubular portion of a conductor connection portion, and a lid portion is assembled on the base. Thus, an insertion portion is inserted between extension portions to that intersect each other, and a diameter of the tubular portion is reduced. The conductor portion is tightened by the tubular portion, and the conductor connection portion is connected to the conductor portion. Therefore, a dedicated machine is not required to connect the terminal fitting to an electric wire, and operation of connecting the terminal fitting to the electric wire and of accommodating the terminal fitting in the housing can be performed substantially simultaneously. Thus, the connector can be easily assembled.

  • Patent number: 10896012
Abstract: A tilt-corrected document image is obtained by performing image analysis processing on a scan image to detect a document area and performing extraction and tilt correction of a document image based on the detected document area. The tilt-corrected document image and a frame indicating a repeat target area are displayed in a repeat target area specification screen. The initially displayed frame indicates an area corresponding to the tilt-corrected document image. A position of the displayed frame can be changed based on a user's instruction on the screen. A repeat layout-processed output image is generated by repeatedly laying out an image of the repeat target area determined based on the frame set on the screen within a specified sheet size, and print processing is made executable.

  • Patent number: 10886684
Abstract: A bonding method for a conductor of an electric wire including a conductor formed of a plurality of strands and a sheath covering the conductor such that the conductor is exposed to a predetermined length. The bonding method includes bonding the strands to each other, the strands being spaced apart from the sheath by a predetermined length. An outer diameter of a middle portion of the conductor between a bonded portion and a portion covered with the sheath gradually decreases toward the bonded portion. A maximum value of an intersection angle between an upper surface of the bonded portion or a longitudinal direction of the electric wire and the strands of the middle portion is smaller than a predetermined angle. The predetermined angle is an angle at which breakage of the strands is prevented when the bonding is performed.

  • Patent number: 10879631
Abstract: An electric wire with a terminal and manufacturing method thereof is provided. In the electric wire with the terminal, the protective member, the core wire, and the terminal fitting are integrally connected to each other by ultrasonic vibration applied via the protective member from an ultrasonic horn in a state in which the core wire is sandwiched between the protective member and the terminal fitting. Therefore, there is no possibility that the ultrasonic horn directly presses the core wire, and the edge (particularly, the rear edge) of the pressing portion of the ultrasonic horn is direct in contact with the core wire. Thereby, at the time of ultrasonic bonding, stress concentration due to the edge (particularly the rear edge) of the pressing portion of the ultrasonic horn with respect to the core wire can be relaxed, and disconnection of the core wire can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20200403730
Abstract: A checksum negotiation unit (10005) selects as a candidate polynomial, a candidate for a generator polynomial to be used in communication between a safety master device (10) and a safety slave device (20) from a plurality of polynomials. A communication cycle verification unit (10008) determines whether or not a calculation using the candidate polynomial is completed in each of the safety master device (10) and the safety slave device (20) by a predetermined deadline. The communication cycle verification unit (10008) designates the candidate polynomial as the generator polynomial when it is determined that the calculation using the candidate polynomial is completed in each of the safety master device (10) and the safety slave device (20) by the deadline.

  • Patent number: 10853010
Abstract: A tilt-corrected document image is obtained by performing image analysis processing on a scan image to detect a document area and performing extraction and tilt correction of a document image based on the detected document area. A repeat target area is set based on the obtained tilt-corrected document image. The number of repetitions in repeatedly laying out the repeat target area for each of a plurality of candidate sheet sizes is calculated, and a list screen showing the calculated numbers of repetitions for the respective plurality of candidate sheet sizes is displayed. A repeat layout-processed output image is generated by repeatedly laying out an image of the repeat target area within a sheet size specified by a user, and print processing is made executable.

  • Patent number: 10826261
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a terminal-equipped electric wire includes forming, in an electric wire, a bonded portion in which strands of a conductor exposed due to absence of a sheath are bonded to each other. A terminal including a wire barrel portion is fixed to the electric wire such that the wire barrel portion covers at least a part of the bonded portion. A sectional shape of the bonded portion before the fixing of the terminal is formed in such a shape that a variable range of a value of a distance between a geometric center of a cross section of the bonded portion and the wire barrel portion falls within a range of 0.71 to 1.29 when rotating the bonded portion by an arbitrary angle while engaging the bonded portion with the wire barrel portion within the wire barrel portion.

  • Patent number: 10789022
Abstract: An image processing apparatus perform operations. An inclination-corrected document image is acquired by executing detection of a document area from a scanned image, extraction of a document image corresponding to the detected document area from the scanned image and correction of an extracted document image inclination. An output size is designated to be used when an image of a repeat target area is printed out. The output size is designated based on a user instruction. A repeat target area is set based on the acquired inclination-corrected document image and the designated output size. An image inside the set repeat target area is scaled up/down such that the image has the output size, and the image is repeatedly laid out within a designated sheet size to create an output image subsequent to repeat layout processing. Print processing is executed by using the output image subsequent to the repeat layout processing.
