  • Patent number: 10952711
Abstract: A device for treating tissue includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a lumen extending therein and a clip slidably received within the lumen of the capsule. The clip includes a middle prong, a first outer prong and a second outer prong. The first prong is coupled to the middle prong so that the first prong is movable relative to the middle prong between a first open configuration and a first closed configuration. The second outer prong coupled to the middle prong so that the second prong is movable relative to the middle prong between a second open configuration and a second closed configuration. The first and second outer prongs are independently movable relative to the middle prong to be moved between the first and second open configurations to the first and second open configurations and the first and second closed configurations.

  • Patent number: 10952742
Abstract: A system and method for treating tissue includes an applicator including a bushing and a control member. The control member extends through the bushing to an enlarged distal end. The system also includes clip assembly releasably coupleable to the applicator. The clip assembly includes clip arms and a yoke including a distal portion connected to the clip arms and a proximal portion. The proximal portion includes a slot configured to receive the enlarged distal end of the control member and at least one helical cut positioned at a proximal end of the slot. The helical cut is configured to rotate the enlarged distal end from a first orientation in which the enlarged distal end is offset from the slot to a second orientation in which the enlarged distal end is aligned with the slot so that when a force thereon exceeds a threshold value, the enlarged distal end passes into the slot.

  • Patent number: 10905434
Abstract: A system for treating tissue includes a clip assembly having a pair of clip arms. Proximal ends of the clip arms engage a distal portion of a central member slidably received within a channel of a capsule to be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The central member includes the distal portion and a proximal portion connected to one another via a releasable connection which releases when subject to a force exceeding a predetermined threshold level. The system also includes an applicator releasably coupled to the clip assembly. The applicator includes an outer sleeve through which a control member extends. A distal end of the control member engages a cavity of the proximal portion to move the central member relative to the capsule. A lumen of the outer sleeve is sized and shaped to slidably receive the capsule therein.
