  • Patent number: 10749632
Abstract: An apparatus for smart integrated cyclic data transport is provided. The apparatus may preserve the consistency and integrity of a file during the transfer of the file from a source system to a target system. The apparatus includes an orchestration subsystem. The orchestration subsystem includes an analyzer/generator module. The analyzer/generator module executes an algorithm on the file at the source location. An output is generated from the executed algorithm. The apparatus includes a consistency module. The consistency module pre-checks the output at the source location for pretransfer validation and creates a copy of the output. The copy may preserve the consistency and the integrity of the file. • Patent number: 10158567
Abstract: A method for assisting media access control (MAC) address learning is disclosed. The method includes receiving, at a first provider edge (PE) device, a data packet from a core network, the data packet identifying an Ethernet Segment (ES) from which the data packet originated and identifying a first MAC address as the destination MAC address; determining, at the first PE device, whether the first PE device has an Ethernet connection in the ES identified by the data packet and whether the first PE device has learned the first MAC address; and, upon positive determination, sending an announcement message to the core network, the announcement message identifying the first MAC address.

  • Patent number: 10033636
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for assisting Ethernet Segment (ES)-aware media access control (MAC) address learning is disclosed. The method includes receiving, at a provider edge (PE) device, a data packet from a core network, the data packet identifying an ES from which the data packet originated and identifying a MAC address as a source MAC address; determining whether the PE device has an Ethernet connection in the ES identified by the data packet; and, upon positive determination, associating the MAC address identified as the source MAC address of the data packet to a bridge port, at the PE device, of the Ethernet connection in the ES identified by the data packet.

  • Patent number: 9635775
Abstract: Sealed end points and methods of making the same are disclosed. An example method includes disposing a first flange of a lid within a groove of a housing. The groove is defined by first and second walls of the housing and lid. The method also includes means for welding two stationary components while rotating a third component to weld the three components together. The second flange is positioned between the first flange and the first wall. The housing, the lid, and the collar include a thermoplastic material. The method includes securing the housing and the lid relative to one another and spin welding the housing, the lid, and the collar.

  • Publication number: 20160220836
Abstract: The device and method for phase-locking brain stimulation to electroencephalographic rhythms improves the accuracy, specificity, and effectiveness of non-invasive brain stimulation devices by timing pulses of brain stimulation to occur in synchrony with naturally occurring brain rhythms measured at the scalp of a patient in order to treat an assortment of neurological and psychiatric conditions. The device and method provided herein improve non-invasive brain stimulation techniques by time-locking the onset of brain stimulation to the phase of naturally-occurring rhythmic oscillations of brain activity that can be recorded with electroencephalography (EEG). The device and method perform real-time signal analysis of a specified EEG rhythm, extract frequency-domain phase information to estimate the next occurrence of a desired EEG rhythm phase, and trigger a brain stimulation pulse so as to align precisely with this predicted EEG phase.
