  • Publication number: 20080253284
Abstract: Controlling a transmission rate of packet traffic includes receiving packets from a network processor. The packets are stored in a buffer associated with a processor. If an occupancy level of the buffer is greater than a predetermined threshold, it is determined that the processor is congested. A message is transmitted to the network processor indicating the processor is congested.

  • Publication number: 20070272234
Abstract: A solar collector structural support system that affixes to a mounting surface without penetrating the mounting surface is disclosed. The invention in the preferred embodiment includes a base assembly comprising: a plurality of leg members, a center junction elements configured to receive (a) the proximal end of each of the plurality of leg members and (b) a support member configured to securely uphold at least one of the one or more one solar collectors, and at least one footing adapted to frictionally engage the mounting surface. Multiple base assemblies may be interconnected using peripheral junction elements to form arrays of solar collectors of arbitrarily large size. The peripheral junction element is configured to couple the leg members of multiple base assemblies. When connected with the present invention, a plurality of solar concentrators form an array with greater structural integrity and less susceptibility.

  • Patent number: 6649548
Abstract: There is disclosed a nonwoven web/film laminate for use as a fabric in personal care products. The laminate is formed of at least two layers in an SF formation. The spunbond (S) layer of the laminate is formed of preferably metallocene catalyzed polypropylene. The film (F) layer is formed of a polyolefin which may be metallocene-catalyzed.

  • Patent number: 6595849
Abstract: A ventilation system to be used over roofing materials that have ribs or corrugations on their surface such as might be found on preformed metal roofing panels. This ventilation system consists of narrow strips of material that are to be placed end to end in such a way as to form a long continuous strip. They are then covered by a typical ridge cap or other flashing material allowing the ventilation air to pass over the roofing material but under the ridge cap or flashing material. The resulting ventilation system is impervious to normal temperature extremes and wind born materials such as rain or snow.

  • Publication number: 20030022618
Abstract: A new roof ventilation system is disclosed that employs unique properties that enable it to ventilate said roof system in a simple, economical, and effective manner. This ventilation system is designed to be used in an application over roofing materials that have ribs or corrugations on their surface such as might be found on pre formed metal roofing panels. This ventilation system consists of narrow strips of material that are to be placed end to end in such a way as to form a long continuous strip. They are then covered by a typical ridge cap or other flashing material allowing the ventilation air to pass over the roofing material but under the ridge cap or flashing material. The resulting ventilation system is aesthetically pleasing, economical, functional, and impervious to normal temperature extremes and wind born materials such as rain or snow.

  • Patent number: 6367758
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat bottom and a seat back supported for movement relative to the seat bottom such that seat position can be adjusted forwardly or rearwardly with respect to the vehicle. The seat assembly is mounted to a vehicle structure and includes a first track and a second track supported for movement relative to the first track with the seat bottom being supported on the second track for movement with the second track. A support member presents a bearing surface that rotatably engages a bearing surface on the second track. At least one adjustment link is used to interconnect the support member and the seat bottom. The adjustment link is mounted on the support member for rotation therewith to provide vertical seat adjustment. A torque tube engages the support member to provide rotational input to the adjustment link.

  • Patent number: 6312037
Abstract: A vehicle seat mounting assembly includes a mounting pin rotatably retained in a support foot to removably retain a seat track assembly to a vehicle floor member. The support foot is located on the vehicle floor member and the mounting pin is moved downward through a slot in the vehicle floor member. The mounting pin is rotated within the support foot and released such that the biasing member moves the mounting pin upward into a receipt member. Another embodiment of the vehicle seat mounting assembly includes a pin having an engagement surface. The mounting pin is passed through the vehicle floor member an into a receipt member. To retain the mounting pin in the receipt member, a spring biased locking member engages the engagement surface of the mounting pin.
