  • Patent number: 10209108
Abstract: A flow measuring device for measuring flow of a fluid. A housing has a passage which extends between an inlet and an outlet. A shaft is disposed within the housing and is rotatable about a central axis. A flow detector is mounted on the shaft and disposed at least partially within the passage. The flow detector includes a rotatable, generally cylindrical body that rotates about a central axis as the fluid flows. A magnet is disposed within the housing such that the central axis extends through it, and is configured to rotate simultaneously with the body about the central axis. A magnetic encoder is disposed within the housing and configured to sense rotation of the magnet as the flow detector angularly displaces about the central axis so as to detect angular displacement of the flow detector.

  • Publication number: 20190035390
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for classification using neural networks. One method includes receiving audio data corresponding to an utterance. Obtaining a transcription of the utterance. Generating a representation of the audio data. Generating a representation of the transcription of the utterance. Providing (i) the representation of the audio data and (ii) the representation of the transcription of the utterance to a classifier that, based on a given representation of the audio data and a given representation of the transcription of the utterance, is trained to output an indication of whether the utterance associated with the given representation is likely directed to an automated assistance or is likely not directed to an automated assistant.

  • Publication number: 20190026254
Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to systems and methods for providing a CSS parser to improve the maintainability of code that displays data to users. The technology disclosed also improves the performance and consistency of the code that delivers a user's experience. An embodiment operates by accessing a CSS target token in a first customizable code segment and scanning a CSS codebase to locate a second customizable code segment of the CSS codebase that comprises the target token. Embodiments may further include transforming an object in the first or second customizable code segments of the CSS codebase by modifying the first or second customizable code segments to include customization code, parsing the first and second customizable code segments by transforming the first or second customizable code segments of the CSS codebase into a plurality of segment parse trees, and outputting a customized codebase based on the plurality of segment parse trees.

  • Publication number: 20190018391
Abstract: Systems and method relating to machining parts include a CNC system, and a computer including a processor and a computer-readable medium, wherein the computer-readable medium encodes instructions including receiving, at the computer program, output data from a CNC machine that receives instructions of a Numerical Control (NC) program at a computer of the CNC machine, the instructions causing the CNC machine to i) manufacture a part, and ii) output the output data, parsing, by the computer program, the output data before completion of the manufacturing of the part by the CNC machine in accordance with the instructions of the NC program, selecting, by the computer program and based on one or more predetermined parameters, a set of data from the parsed output data; and providing, by the computer program to a remote system, the set of data for processing to facilitate machining using the CNC machine.

  • Patent number: 10133821
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for receiving audio data encoding an utterance; obtaining an intermediate transcription of the utterance; before a final transcription of the utterance is obtained: i) determining that the intermediate transcription of the utterance is associated with a previously received search query, ii) obtaining one or more results that are identified as responsive to the previously received search query, and iii) storing one or more of the results; obtaining the final transcription of the utterance; determining that the final transcription of the utterance is also associated with the previously received search query; and in response to determining that the final transcription of the utterance is also associated with the previously received search query, providing the stored one or more results for output.

  • Patent number: 10079854
Abstract: Embodiments of methods, systems and storage media associated with mitigating the effects of client-side (customer) bot-like activity caused by code injected into an e-commerce web page in the customer's browser after it is received from the e-commerce server system. Rather than entirely block a selected account or device (IP address) of a legitimate customer, a more politic process to mitigate the effects of bot-like scripts is implemented by embedding a “protective script” into a web page before it is downloaded to a client device. The protective script intercepts attempts to inject new code into the page, and it may prevent the injection entirely, or modify the injected code to mitigate its impact, for example, by slowing down its operation. This process leaves the customer free to continue normal activities on the site without any adverse impact or penalty.
