    Abstract: When cell system information changes, a first terminal device receives, during on duration of the first terminal device, system information sent by a second terminal device, so that the first terminal device can receive the system information through a sidelink between the first terminal device and the second terminal device without a need to maintain a cellular link, thereby reducing complexity and power consumption of system information transmission. Alternatively, when cell system information changes and a first terminal device has only one receive radio frequency chain, the first terminal device obtains system information within a gap period of communication between the second terminal device and the first terminal device through a link between the first terminal device and a network device, so that the first terminal device maintains a cellular link only within the gap period, thereby reducing complexity and power consumption of system information transmission to some extent.

    Abstract: A method of connection establishment through a relay UE for a remote UE is proposed. The remote and relay UEs first perform discovery and establish a PC5 radio resource control (PC5-RRC) connection. Upon receiving a request from the remote UE, the relay UE and a serving gNB perform a relaying procedure for establishment of the remote UE's signalling radio bearer 1 (SRB1). The relay UE configures PC5 RLC channels for relaying of SRB1 towards the remote UE. The remote UE then enters an RRC_CONNECTED state. The remote UE and gNB establish security. The gNB configures additional data radio bearers (DRBs) for relaying. The relay UE configures PC5 RLC channels for relaying of the additional DRBs towards the remote UE. The DRBs can then be used for exchange of data between the remote UE and the gNB.

In novel aspect, the sidelink adaptation protocol (SAP) layer inserts SAP header including the adaptation layer address (ALA) before routing the packet data to the next hop. In other embodiments, the SAP layer includes a sequence number (SN). In one embodiment, the SN number in the SAP layer is the same as the PDCP SN number. In another embodiment, the SAP layer assigns SN number. In other embodiments, the SAP layer performs bearer mapping between an ingress logical channel and an egress logical channel at one or more intermediate nodes. In one embodiment, the bearer mapping is based on the QoS information or is based on a fixed logical channel configuration.

    Abstract: A system may include an application server and one or more tenants served by the application server. The application server may host a virtual machine with multiple isolated sub-environments. Each tenant of the application server may request to run a program in a tenant-specific sub-environment of the virtual machine. The sub-environments may be configured so the execution of one tenant's code does not affect execution of another tenant's code or the hosting virtual machine, for example, by considering the resources used to execute the code. The application server may implement techniques to securely execute “untrusted” code, programmed using one or more different programming languages, in the sub-environments by enforcing resource restrictions and restricting the sub-environments from accessing the host's local file system. In this way, one tenant's code does not negatively impact execution of another tenant's code by using too many resources of the virtual machine.

The motion sensor information may be used to adjust a current beam direction used by the UE to transmit or receive a signal, or to determine a recommendation for adjusting a current beam direction of the base station. The motion sensor information may be generated by any sensor that detects a movement of the UE, such as a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, a global positioning system (GPS) sensor, a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) sensor, or any other device that detects a change in position/orientation of the UE.
