  • Publication number: 20250182741
Abstract: A system includes a hardware processor and a memory storing software code and a natural language understanding (NLU) model. The hardware processor executes the software code to receive audio input including speech by a human speaker, produce a text transcription of the audio input, identify, using the NLU model and the text transcription, a segment of interest of the audio input that includes a feature of interest, and analyze one or more audio characteristic(s) of the feature of interest. The software code is further executed to identify, using the text transcription, a text string corresponding to the feature of interest, generate a response to the audio input that includes the text string, and modify the response using the audio characteristic(s) to produce an output response in which the text string is uttered in a characteristic voice of a non-human social agent using a word pronunciation utilized by the human speaker.

  • Patent number: 12317326
Abstract: A base station may operate in a context where the propagation delay between the base station and user equipment (UE) devices is large. The base station configures UE devices with a common delay. The base station receives a random access preamble from a UE device. The base station determines a time slot in which the random access preamble was transmitted, based on a configured correspondence between allowable time slots and subsets of an available set of preambles. The base station computes a Random Access Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RA-RNTI) based on parameter values including an index, of the determined time slot. The base station employs the computed RA-RNTI to address a random access response for the UE device.

  • Publication number: 20250148802
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for controlling an autonomous machine includes processing sensor data streamed via a plurality of calibrated sensors by a plurality of perception modules to extract perception information from the sensor data in real time. The extracted real time perception information from the plurality of perception modules is fused by a context awareness module to create a blackboard image, which is a representation of an operating environment of the autonomous machine derived from fusion of the extracted perception information using a controlled semantic, defining a context of the autonomous machine. A stream of blackboard images, representing a time evolving context of the autonomous machine, is processed by an action evaluation module, using a control policy, to output a control action to be executed by the autonomous machine. The control policy includes a learned mapping of context to control action represented by blackboard images created using the controlled semantic.

  • Patent number: 12293808
Abstract: A memory subsystem and method for performing calibrations therein is disclosed. A memory subsystem includes a memory controller coupled to a memory by a plurality of signal paths. The memory controller is configured to perform an initial calibration to determine respective eye patterns corresponding to the ones of the plurality of signal paths. For a subsequent calibration, updated eye patterns are determined for a subset of the plurality of signal paths. Remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths (not included in the subset), are not active during the subsequent calibrations. Updated eye patterns for the remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths are determined based on information obtained during the initial calibration and information from signal paths in the subset designated proxies for the remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths.
