    Abstract: Systems and methods for performing measurements of one or more cells during an small data transmission (SDT) procedure between a user equipment (UE) and a network when the UE is in a radio resource control (RRC) INACTIVE state are described herein. Beam and/or cell measurements taken during an SDT measurement period of the SDT procedure may be used to determine one or more respective cell qualities, among other possibilities. Beginnings and endings of the SDT measurement period, and the manner (timing) for taking measurements within the SDT measurement period, are also described. The cell qualities so determined can then be used to monitor, during the SDT measurement period, for a measurement event, which causes the UE to send a measurement report to the network having data determined using those cell qualities, and/or to send messaging intended to induce the network to change the RRC state of the UE.

The invention involves receiving from a communication device a first unique identifier associated with a contactless payment card, and a second unique identifier associated with the communication device. Transmission of the first unique identifier and the second unique identifier from the communication device is implemented in response to the communication device detecting a contactless card tap event, and the communication device retrieving the first unique identifier from the contactless payment card.     Abstract: The distribution of reachability information between data centers includes receiving routes that are advertised among network devices within a given data center. The received routes are summarized to produce one or more summarized (aggregated) routes which are fewer in number than the received routes. Instead of advertising the received routes among the data centers, the summarized routes are advertised. Advertising the summarized routes as compared to the received routes reduces control plane traffic between data centers, and reduces the requirements for storing advertised routes received by a data center.

    Abstract: An Artificial Intelligence (AI) based document digitization, transformation and validation system extracts fields from digital documents via different document digitization processes. A document packet with a plurality of documents is initially accessed and any non-digital documents in the document packet are digitized. The errors in the digitized documents are corrected and non-English documents are translated into English. Each of the documents is provided to a plurality of digitization services for the extraction of fields by a plurality of field extraction models. If a field has multiple field instances extracted by more than one digitization service, then a field instance with the highest confidence score is selected for inclusion into the consolidated results. The consolidated results produced in different JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) formats are converted into a common JSON format which may be further validated and provided to downstream processes.

A mobile termination functionality (MT) of the TAB node uses a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer to transport data of the local application instance between the MT and an IAB donor. Accordingly, the CN may instruct the IAB donor to instantiate a remote packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer and, in some cases, a remote service data application (SDAP) layer that are configured to route the traffic from the UE for the application to the instance of the application on the IAB node.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for thwarting a malware attack. A data storage system stores data items, some of which data items correspond to snapshots. Upon identification of a possible ransomware attack on a data item, the system identifies a version of the snapshot that is not subject to the ransomware attack and seeks to protect the data state of the system from further damage (e.g., due to performance of unauthorized operations on the version of the snapshot that is not subject to the ransomware attack) by requiring consensus from a multi-party authorization (MPA) consensus regime before carrying out requested operations over the snapshot. The MPA consensus regime operates by determining that the operation is subject to a role-based access control (RBAC) as well as a multi-party authorization (MPA) consensus protocol, and then allowing or denying execution of the requested operations based on achieving consensus from among candidate approvers.

A base station may receive, from a UE, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising a release request and assistance information, send an RRC release message to the UE in response, and forward the assistance information to the CN.
