  • Publication number: 20230362751
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for a UE of a wireless communication network to recover from MCG radio link failures in a MR-DC system when the SCG is deactivated or otherwise not enabled. When a MCG link failure is detected and the SCG is deactivated, the UE may activate the SCG for the UE to use the SCG link to transmit and receive signaling messages or data as part of the MCG failure recovery procedure. When the MCG link failure is detected and the UE is configured to add the SCG upon the satisfaction of certain condition, but the condition has not occurred, the UE may check to determine whether one condition is MCG failure and whether the radio link quality of the SCG exceeds a threshold. If the radio link quality of the SCG exceeds the threshold, the UE may apply the SCG configuration to add the SCG.

  • Publication number: 20230350841
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are configured to enable a receiver to provide feedback. In one example, a method performed at a device coupled to a serial bus includes receiving a write command from the serial bus in a datagram, writing a data byte received in a first data frame of the datagram to a register address identified by the datagram, and using a second data frame of the datagram to provide feedback regarding the datagram. Feedback may be provided by driving a data line of the serial bus to provide a negative acknowledgement during the second data frame when a transmission error is detected in the datagram, and refraining from driving the data line of the serial bus during the second data frame when no transmission error is detected in the datagram, thereby providing an acknowledgement of the datagram.

  • Patent number: 11800328
Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for supporting switching between point to point and point to multipoint delivery with service continuity for broadcast and multicast services in a wireless communication system. A cellular base station and a wireless device may establish a wireless link. The cellular base station may provide information configuring an over the air delivery type with which to receive a broadcast or multicast service, which may be received by the wireless device. The cellular base station may transmit the service using the configured delivery type, and the wireless device may correspondingly receive the service. The cellular base station may provide information configuring the wireless device to switch to a different over the air delivery type, with service continuity. The cellular base station may then transmit the service using that delivery type, and the wireless device may correspondingly receive the service.

  • Publication number: 20230336477
Abstract: A central controller in a data network can maintain a set of access control list (ACL) rules that represent traffic and data policies of the data network. The controller can autonomously propagate the set of ACL rules to switches in the data network. Each switch that receives the set of ACL rules can selectively install rules from the set based on criteria such as whether or not a given rule in the set is close to the source and device class.

  • Publication number: 20230333870
Abstract: Techniques are provided for orchestrating a shutdown of virtual machines using a shutdown interface and a network card. One method comprises receiving a message sent by a controller application, executing on a network card of a hyperconverged appliance, wherein the message is sent by the controller application after shutting down one or more user-created virtual machines in response to a detected power failure of the hyperconverged appliance; performing the following steps, by a shutdown interface, in response to receiving the message: shutting down one or more system-created virtual machines and one or more physical host devices of the hyperconverged appliance. The controller application may pass control to the shutdown interface and may shut down in response to the completion of the shutting down of the one or more user-created virtual machines. The execution of the controller application on the network card may not employ resources of the physical host devices.

  • Publication number: 20230335357
Abstract: A crank arm of an auxiliary rotary switch in a circuit breaker changes electrical connections of contacts in the auxiliary rotary switch when the crank-arm is rotated about its axis. An auxiliary switch actuator decouples abrupt forces from being applied to the crank arm resulting from closing main contacts of the circuit breaker. In response to the main contacts starting to close, the crank arm is set into rotation by motion of a connection-state link that is coupled to the main contacts. The rotation of the crank arm continues up to a point at which the rotation is stopped, while the connection-state link continues its motion without being connected to the crank arm. In this manner, the connection-state link is decoupled from the crank arm, to relieve the crank arm from receiving the abrupt forces conducted by the connection-state link resulting from the main circuit breaker contacts closing.
