  • Publication number: 20100230693
Abstract: A white light emitting diode (LED) package with multilayered encapsulation structure and the packaging methods are disclosed. The white LED package structure includes metal electrodes, a heat dissipation base, a PPA plastic for fixing the electrodes and the heat dissipation base together, at least one LED die, a die attaching material, gold wires for electrically connecting the LED die to the electrodes, a first type of silicone encapsulant, a second type of silicone encapsulant, and a phosphor containing layer. The invention utilizes a low-refractive index silicone (the second type of silicone encapsulant) to separate the phosphor containing layer away from the first type of silicone, which covers the LED die, to prevent/reduce emitted light going backward and hitting the LED die.

  • Publication number: 20100128698
Abstract: To provide a method of selecting an optimal base station for each application when accumulating communication quality in response to an application type for a base station and a communication terminal switches base stations. A communication quality database 31 is prepared by assigning a current location of a communication terminal device, a currently running application program and a communication quality when executing an application program. When making a new connection with a base station, the current application and location is used to select a base station having an optimal communication quality from the communication quality database 31. • Publication number: 20100094607
Abstract: This invention relates to a substrate with via and pad structure(s) to reduce solder wicking. Each via and pad structure connects a component to conductive layers associated with the substrate. The substrate includes one or more plated vias, solder mask(s) surrounding the plated vias, and a conductive pad with a conductive trace connected to each plated via. The conductive pad extends beyond the terminal sides to increase solder formation and the solder mask reduces solder formation at the terminal end of the component. The via and pad structure is suitable for a variety of components and high component density. The invention also provides a computer implemented method for calculating the maximum distance of a conductive pad extending beyond the terminal side of a component.

  • Patent number: 7533244
Abstract: Network-on-Chip Dataflow Architecture is the new microprocessor architecture. It consists of many processing elements connecting together via two distinct networks namely instruction network and data network. Instructions are fetched into the processing elements through instruction network which uses packet switching scheme. Then the instructions will configure the processing elements and connections of the data network to create a dataflow graph. After that data are transferred and processed by the graph in a dataflow manner. Our architecture has one special characteristic in which instructions within loops are fetched only once but they are used many times.

  • Publication number: 20090065015
Abstract: The spring hair comb consisted of the handle and the compression spring. The teeth of the comb are made of the coils of the compression spring. The thickness and spaces of the teeth depend on the size of the compression spring. This comb combs through hair smoothly with minimal friction and no pain to the scalp due to its round coils and its larger contact surface than the small and pointed teeth of other combs.

  • Publication number: 20070227069
Abstract: A process and apparatus for producing a synthesis gas for use as a gaseous fuel or as feed into a fischer-Tropsch reactor to produce a liquid fuel in a substantially self-sustaining process. A slurry of particles of carbonaceous material in water, and hydrogen from an internal source, are fed into a hydro-gasification reactor under conditions whereby methane rich producer gases are generated and fed into a steam pyrolytic reformer under conditions whereby synthesis gas comprising hydrogen and carbon monoxide are generated. A portion of the hydrogen generated by the steam pyrolytic reformer is fed through a hydrogen purification filter into the hydro-gasification reactor, the hydrogen therefrom constituting the hydrogen from an internal source. The remaining synthesis gas generated by the steam pyrolytic reformer is either used as fuel for a gaseous fueled engine to produce electricity and/or process heat or is fed into a Fischer-Tropsch reactor under conditions whereby a liquid fuel is produced.

  • Publication number: 20060086523
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a mounting clip that facilitates easy installation and removal of protective shields for PTVs and other video display units. The clip preferably comprises a base and an elongate locking arm extending generally orthogonally there from. The base is pivotally coupled at an end opposite the locking arm through a flexible coupling to a screen frame. The screen frame and clip are preferably integrally formed from PVC or other durable yet resilient material with the same, yet thinner, material coupling the base to the screen frame. A locking mechanism releasably locks the clip to the screen frame. In operation, the clip is rotated in a clockwise direction and the latch is snapped into the socket to secure a shield in place. The clip is rotated in a counter-clockwise direction to unlock the clip and remove the shield.
