  • Patent number: 12193697
Abstract: Some implementations provide a high-powered compact ultrasonic transducer having an integral piezoelectric ceramic force sensing element utilized to enable enhanced tissue selectivity with a piezoelectric based transducer. Some implementations additionally or alternatively relate to methods and apparatus for driving ultrasonic surgical devices, such as methods and apparatus that modulate an amplitude of a drive signal, provided to an ultrasonic surgical device, in accordance with a selected tissue selectivity level. For example, the amplitude of the drive signal for a given tissue selectivity level can be varied with time in accordance with amplitude modification parameters that are particularized to the given tissue selectivity level. Some of those implementations additionally implement a corresponding duty cycle, for the drive signal, that corresponds to the selected tissue selectivity level.

  • Publication number: 20240394756
Abstract: A computer-implemented approach is described that includes receiving a mass price computation request for a plurality of deals involving a plurality of vehicles. The request includes a data structure configured to store input values, and a tri-value field configured to store a tri-value, the tri-value being one of a first value, a second value, or a third value, the first value indicating a single computation is requested using the input values, the second value indicating a limited set of combinatorial calculations to be calculated using the input values, and the third value indicating a full set of combinatorial calculations using the input values. The approach further causes computing of each of the plurality of deals based on the data structure, and outputting results to a user device based on the mass price computation request.

  • Publication number: 20240394790
Abstract: A computer-implemented approach is described that includes receiving a multidimensional vehicle-deal request for computation of a plurality of vehicle-deals. To overcome latency and scalability issues, the approach computes the results for the multidimensional vehicle-deal request using double parallelization. Such double parallelization involves computing pre-price and post-price calculations using two asynchronous parallel threads using microservices servers. The results are output on the device of the requester, optionally in an order sorted based on most attractive results to the user.

  • Patent number: 12155618
Abstract: A server has a processor and a memory storing instructions executed by the processor to maintain an ephemeral gallery of ephemeral messages. An ephemeral message is posted to the ephemeral gallery. The ephemeral message has an associated message duration parameter and a gallery participation parameter. • Patent number: 12155617
Abstract: A server has a processor and a memory storing instructions executed by the processor to maintain an ephemeral gallery of ephemeral messages. In response to a view request received from a client device over a distributed computer network, the message collection is supplied to the requesting device by causing automated sequential display on the client device of the ephemeral messages in the collection. The automated sequential display provides display of the messages one after another in chronological sequence such that the oldest message is displayed first.

  • Patent number: 12110101
Abstract: A rotorcraft has a rotor blade having a spar comprising an internal space. A weight system is disposed within the spar and the weight system includes a weight tray having an open top, a weight guide rod connected to the weight tray. The weight guide rod extends in a spanwise direction through an interior of the weight tray and a weight is disposed on the weight guide rod and vertically captured by at least one side wall of the weight tray. The weight guide rod is insertable into the weight tray from a location above the weight tray to restrict longitudinal movement of the weight guide rod relative to the weight tray.

  • Patent number: 11997413
Abstract: A method of presenting media content is disclosed. A plurality of assets is received at a device comprising a display and an orientation sensor. The plurality of assets comprises a first video asset associated with a first aspect ratio, and a second video asset associated with a second aspect ratio, different from the first aspect ratio. A desired aspect ratio is determined based on an output of the orientation sensor. In accordance with a determination that the desired aspect ratio is closer to the first aspect ratio than to the second aspect ratio, the first video asset is selected. In accordance with a determination that the desired aspect ratio is closer to the second aspect ratio than to the first aspect ratio, the second video asset is selected. The selected video is presented at the desired aspect ratio via the display.

  • Patent number: 11939067
Abstract: Briefly, the disclosure relates to apparatuses and methods to enclose electrical contacts for de-icing equipment utilized on fixed-wing aircraft and rotary-wing aircraft, such as helicopters and tiltrotor aircraft. In some implementations, enclosing electrical contacts for a de-ice heater blanket may ensure that high-quality electrical connections are made between conductors of one or more de-icing cables and the electrical contacts of the de-ice heater blanket. Such high-quality electrical connections may be maintained even during aircraft operations conducted in below-freezing ambient environments, rainy and/or wet environments, dusty desert environments, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 11934778
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing sentiment analysis of content. In order to determine the overall sentiment of content, a request is received by a sentiment analyzer, which then identifies a content identification number and retrieves comments associated with the content identification number. The sentiment analyzer pre-processes the comments, which includes removing all personal identifying information from the comments. The sentiment analyzer sends the pre-processed comments to a natural language processing service, and in turn, receives sentiment indications corresponding to the comments provided. Based on the sentiment scores, the sentiment analyzer generates a sentiment analysis and displays the sentiment analysis in the graphical user interface generated by the sentiment analyzer.

  • Patent number: 11855947
Abstract: A server maintains a gallery of ephemeral messages. Each ephemeral message is posted to the gallery by a user for viewing by recipients via recipient devices. In response to a gallery view request from any of the recipient devices, the ephemeral messages in the gallery are displayed on the requesting device in automated sequence, each message being displayed for a respective display duration before display of the next message in the gallery. Each ephemeral message has an associated message availability parameter. Each ephemeral message is removed from the gallery, thus being unavailable for viewing upon request, at expiry of the corresponding message availability parameter.
