  • Publication number: 20220256972
Abstract: Articles of footwear including a thermo-molded upper having a skin composed of one or more low melting point thermoplastic polymers. The skin may include at least one of: a base layer composed of a low melting point thermoplastic polymer and a grid layer including a yarn composed of a low melting point thermoplastic polymer. The uppers may be formed by placing a skin and an inflatable bladder into a mold cavity and heating the mold to a predetermined temperature. The inflatable bladder may be inflated such that the skin is pressed against an interior surface of the heated mold cavity to cause the skin to take on the shape of the internal surface of the mold cavity, thereby forming an upper for an article of footwear.

  • Patent number: 11411908
Abstract: A server maintains an ephemeral message gallery of ephemeral messages. Each ephemeral message is posted to the ephemeral message gallery by a user for viewing by recipients via recipient devices. In response to an ephemeral message gallery view request from any of the recipient devices, the ephemeral messages in the ephemeral message gallery are displayed on the requesting device in automated sequence, each message being displayed for a respective display duration before display of the next message in the ephemeral message gallery. A user interface via which the ephemeral message gallery is viewable includes indicia with respect to the number of times the ephemeral message gallery has been viewed online by other users.

  • Patent number: 11283747
Abstract: A server maintains a gallery of ephemeral messages respectively comprising visual media content, such as user-provided photographic content or user-provided video content. Each ephemeral message is posted to the gallery by a user for viewing by recipients via recipient devices. In response to a gallery view request from any of the recipient devices, the ephemeral messages in the gallery are displayed on the requesting device in automated sequence, each message being displayed for a respective display duration before display of the next message in the gallery. The gallery has a global gallery availability parameter, and each message has a gallery participation timer. The gallery is made unavailable for viewing upon expiry of the gallery availability parameter or upon expiry of the gallery participation timer of a last posted message in the gallery, whichever occurs first.

  • Patent number: 11214264
Abstract: One way to improve fuel efficiency of a vehicle is to detect the vehicle operational shortcomings related to fuel consumption by determining whether fuel used during operation of the vehicle is normal fuel use or wasted fuel use. Considerations of idling, speeding and inappropriate gear shifts are some ways to measure the amount of fuel wasted due to operator shortcomings. Communicating this information to the operator in real-time so adjustments can be made will improve vehicle fuel efficiency. These techniques are applicable to tracking employment of other driving best practices as well.

  • Publication number: 20210374339
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing sentiment analysis of content. In order to determine the overall sentiment of content, a request is received by a sentiment analyzer, which then identifies a content identification number and retrieves comments associated with the content identification number. The sentiment analyzer pre-processes the comments, which includes removing all personal identifying information from the comments. The sentiment analyzer sends the pre-processed comments to a natural language processing service, and in turn, receives sentiment indications corresponding to the comments provided. Based on the sentiment scores, the sentiment analyzer generates a sentiment analysis and displays the sentiment analysis in the graphical user interface generated by the sentiment analyzer.

  • Publication number: 20210273903
Abstract: A server has a processor and a memory storing instructions executed by the processor to maintain an ephemeral gallery of ephemeral messages, where each ephemeral message is a photograph or a video. An ephemeral message is posted to the ephemeral gallery. The ephemeral message has an associated message duration parameter and a gallery participation parameter. An ephemeral message is removed from the ephemeral gallery in response to the identification of an expired gallery participation parameter. The ephemeral gallery is eliminated upon expiration of either a gallery timer or upon expiration of the gallery participation parameter of a last message posted to the ephemeral gallery. The ephemeral gallery is preserved in response to a gesture applied to an indicium to save the ephemeral gallery to produce a preserved gallery.

  • Publication number: 20210238729
Abstract: A high-strength aluminum alloy coating on a metal or an alloy. The coating contains an aluminum matrix, 9R phase, fine grains in the size range of 2-100 nm, nanotwins, and at least one solute in the aluminum capable of stabilizing grains of the aluminum matrix. A method of making a high-strength aluminum alloy coating on a substrate. The method includes providing a substrate, providing at least one source for each constituent of an aluminum alloy, and depositing atoms of each constituent of the aluminum alloy from the corresponding at least one source of each constituent of the aluminum alloy on the substrate utilizing a deposition method, wherein the deposited atoms form an aluminum alloy coating containing 9R phase, fine grains, and nanotwins.

  • Patent number: 11080165
Abstract: In certain embodiments, a system receives a computer program from a server. The computer program can initiate display of views. The system selects one or more views according to a hierarchy of parent-child relationships among the views. For each selected view, a controller associated with rendering of the view is identified. One or more timing thunks configured to collect timing events are installed into the controllers. One or more records are created from the timing events, and at least a subset of the records are reported to the server.

  • Patent number: 11016749
Abstract: A deployment proxy service is provided to manage communications between a client device and a deployment service. The deployment proxy service receives upload requests from the client device and saves software artifacts associated with the upload request in a proxy repository. The deployment proxy service determines a continuation deployment action that describes information about a target machine to which the software artifacts are applicable. When appropriate, the deployment proxy service provides information to the deployment service that enables the deployment service to deploy the software artifacts to the target machine (e.g., to update an application of the target machine).

  • Publication number: 20210060886
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for manufacturing composite assemblies comprising laying up composite plies on molds for two or more uncured components, joining the molds for the two or more uncured components to form a tubular body, and curing the joined components simultaneously to create a single composite assembly. The single composite assembly may form a spar for an aerodynamic component. The method may further comprise forming at least one axial edge having a sloped shape on the uncured components and mating the sloped axial edges together when joining the uncured components. The molds for the two or more uncured components may comprise female tools or both female tools and male tools. The two or more cured composite assemblies may comprise one or more of carbon and fiberglass composite materials.
