Abstract: The invention provides an oral care composition obtainable by: (i) preparing an oil-in-water emulsion by dispersing an oil phase into an aqueous continuous phase, the aqueous continuous phase comprising an oil-in-water emulsifier which is selected from one or more hydrophobins, so that emulsified particles of oil phase are formed which are emulsified with the one or more hydrophobins; and (ii) combining the emulsion so obtained with an oral care base formulation which is suitable for treating the surfaces of the oral cavity. Compositions of the invention demonstrate enhanced deposition of oil phase components onto oral cavity surfaces such as tooth enamel and tooth dentine, and in particular onto damaged surfaces such as scratched and demineralised enamel.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are related to systems and methods for utilizing biomarker panel data and related medical devices and methods, amongst other things. An embodiment can include a method of screening patients. The method can include quantifying levels of one or more of a panel of biomarkers in a biological sample of a patient. The method can further include analyzing the quantified levels. In some embodiments, the panel of biomarkers includes at least two selected from the group consisting of CRP, SGP-130, sIL-2R, sTNFR-II, IFNg, BNP, sST2, MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1, TIMP-2, TIMP-4. In an embodiment, the disclosure can include a method of diagnosing a patient. The method can include quantifying levels of one or more of a panel of biomarkers in a biological sample of a patient. The method can further include diagnosing the patient based at least in part on the quantified levels.

Abstract: Systems, methods and cartridges for carbonating or otherwise dissolving gas in a precursor liquid, such as water, to form a beverage. A gas source can be provided in a cartridge which is used to generate gas that is dissolved into the precursor liquid. A beverage medium, such as a powdered drink mix or liquid syrup, may be provided in the same, or a separate cartridge as the gas source and mixed with the precursor liquid to form a beverage. The use of one or more cartridges for the gas source and/or beverage medium may make for an easy to use and mess-free system for making sparkling beverages, e.g., in the consumer's home.

Abstract: Example systems and methods of processing a data search request are presented. In one example, a data search request including a plurality of constraints is received. Each of the plurality of constraints is of one of a plurality of constraint types. At least one of the plurality of constraints of a first constraint type is expanded to one or more constraints of at least one other constraint type. A plurality of search definitions is formulated utilizing the plurality of constraints. Each of the plurality of search definitions includes a unique constraint set excluding at least one of the plurality of constraints. A plurality of searches is performed using the plurality of search definitions to generate a plurality of search results. Data item counts corresponding to the search definitions are calculated. The data item counts and the corresponding search definitions are communicated to a client machine.
