  • Publication number: 20190342855
Abstract: A radio network node receives a page request from a core network node. The page request indicates to page a wireless communication device. The radio network node determines a next occurrence of a monitoring window during which the wireless communication device will monitor a paging channel associated with the radio network node. If the amount of time until the next occurrence of the monitoring window exceeds an amount of time that the radio network node can store the page request, the radio network node discards the page request and sends a response to the core network node indicating that the page request was discarded; the response includes a paging timer value that indicates when the core network node should repeat the page request.

  • Publication number: 20190320321
Abstract: A positioning node (e.g., SMLC), a Radio Access Network (RAN) Node (e.g., BSS/BTS), and a wireless device (e.g., MS) are described herein which implement procedures and corresponding modified or new messages/information elements/fields to reduce the possibility of a bandit (e.g., invalid or unauthorized) wireless device from triggering the RAN Node (e.g., BSS/BTS) to generate false timing advance (TA) information associated with the wireless device and report the false TA information to the positioning node (e.g., SMLC) which leads the positioning node (e.g., SMLC) to estimate with degraded accuracy a position of the wireless device.

  • Publication number: 20190264913
Abstract: A burner of a turbomachine has an upstream burner section providing a first fuel and an oxygen containing fluid to an upstream end of a burner interior, a downstream burner section for providing a second fuel to a downstream end of the burner interior, and an intermediate burner section between the two sections. The intermediate burner section has an annular wall surrounding a mid-section of the burner interior. The annular wall has an annular cooling fluid passage, for guiding the oxygen containing fluid, and an annular fuel passage for guiding the second fuel to the downstream burner section, the annular fuel passage being more distant to the burner interior than the annular cooling fluid passage. Two annular slots are incorporated into the annular wall. The upstream burner section has at least one integrated fuel tube through a body of the upstream burner section, configured to feed the annular fuel passage.

  • Publication number: 20190261302
Abstract: Method by a wireless device (120) for supporting positioning of the wireless device (120) in a wireless communication network (100). The wireless device (120) receives (501, 801) from a first network node (110), a positioning request. The wireless device (120) is served in by the first network node (110) when receiving the positioning request.
