  • Publication number: 20100152207
Abstract: GnRH receptor antagonists are disclosed which have utility in the treatment of a variety of sex-hormone related conditions in both men and women. The compounds of this invention have the structure, wherein R1a, R1b, R1c, R1d, R2, R2a, and A are as defined herein, including stereoisomers, esters, solvates and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Also disclosed are compositions containing a compound of this invention in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, as well as methods relating to the use thereof for antagonizing gonadotropin-releasing hormone in a subject in need thereof.

  • Patent number: 7584116
Abstract: Systems and methods of monitoring a demand forecasting process are described. In accordance with a demand forecasting monitoring method, a measure of forecast error variability is computed at each period of a selected time frame, and an indicator of forecast bias is computed at a given period within the selected time frame based on forecast error consistency over periods of the selected time frame prior to the given period. A computer program for implementing the demand forecasting monitoring method is described. A system for monitoring a demand forecasting process that includes a graphical user interface configured to display a measure of standard deviation of percent forecast error at each period of a selected time frame also is described.

  • Publication number: 20090007313
Abstract: An improved protective knitted glove assembly includes a knitted glove and two or more non-coplanar arrays of printed guard plates. The guard plates are small, regularly-spaced, generally uniform thickness, non-overlapping, hard polymer material members arranged in a predetermined pattern having an area parallel to a surface of the glove with major and minor dimensions. The major dimension to minor dimension aspect ratio of the guard plates is between about 3 and 1. The overall abrasion resistance of the glove assembly is substantially greater than an abrasion resistance of the knitted glove without the guard plates.

  • Publication number: 20070212965
Abstract: The invention relates to a flexible scrubbing material that combines at least two discrete components. One component is a continuous flexible substrate. A second component is a discontinuous abrasive layer affixed to the flexible substrate. The abrasive layer is a set of plates formed from a material different than the continuous flexible substrate. One or two flexible substrates with affixed plates can be combined with an intermediate layer such as sponge or terry cloth. The gaps between plates are relatively large and are generally larger than one-third the largest plate dimension. The flexible substrate can be tightly woven fabric that can be printed with visually attractive colors, patterns and images. The plate material is a printable material that subsequently solidifies, such as epoxy. The inventions include associated methods of use and manufacture.

  • Patent number: 7018692
Abstract: A fabric includes a fabric substrate and a plurality guard plate assemblies affixed to the fabric substrate in a spaced relationship to each other. Each guard plate assembly includes a first layer of material affixed to the fabric substrate and a second layer of material joined to the first layer of material on a surface opposite the fabric substrate. The second layer of material has characteristics different than the first layer of material and are chosen commonly to meet the demands of the application to which the fabric is designed.
