  • Patent number: 7260642
Abstract: A method for real-time monitoring image transmission. First, the frame is divided into a plurality of sub-blocks and numbered in order. Then, a sub-block with variation is designated as a start sub-block, and sub-blocks adjacent to the start sub-block are searched and the sub-blocks with variation are grouped to generate at least one variant sub-block set, in which the variant sub-blocks in the set are connected to each other and form a rectangle. Thereafter, the compressed variant sub-block set and the corresponding numbers of each variant sub-block in the set are transmitted to the server. Afterward, the server replaces corresponding sub-blocks having the same numbers in an original frame with the received variant sub-blocks.

  • Publication number: 20040083256
Abstract: A system for real time image transmission monitoring for use in a network system connecting a server and a client. The system includes a remote image monitoring system having a VGA signal-gathering module to gather first and second frames from a client, and a VGA signal-gathering module. The VGA signal-gathering module defines each frame into a plurality of sub-frames, and numbers each sub-frame. Then, the contents of the sub-frames with the same number in the first and second frames are compared, and the content of the variation sub-frame in the second frame and its corresponding number are output to the server if the contents are different. The server replaces the content of the sub-frame with the number in the first frame by the received content, and thus forms the second frame to output.

  • Patent number: 5920412
Abstract: A method and apparatus for optical signal routing in an optical network that includes one or more optical fibers to carry multiplexed signals. Each optical fiber may include a plurality of optical carriers with each optical carrier operating at a different wavelength. The optical network includes an optical network routing apparatus to receive the multiplexed signals from the optical fiber, to categorize the multiplexed signals as local signals or as non-local signals, to drop the local signals to a local switch, and to transmit the non-local signals to the optical fiber for further routing in the optical network. Advantageously, the transport of multiplexed signals on optical carriers of different wavelengths on a single optical fiber multiples by the number of optical carriers the bandwidth capacity of the optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 5888894
Abstract: A method for reducing stray conductive material near vertical surfaces in semiconductor manufacturing processes comprising the following steps. Deposit the gate oxide, polysilicon and cap oxide layers. Apply a Poly1A mask. The Poly1A mask pattern comprises the Poly1 areas that are part of the final circuit layout as well as additional Poly1 areas that are included to provide planar surfaces to prevent stringer formation. Etch the cap, polysilicon and gate oxide layers to partially form the transistor gate structures. Form oxide spacers on the sides of the transistor gate structures. Apply a source/drain mask. Deposit source/drain dopants to form diffusions. Deposit an interlayer dielectric. Mask and pattern contacts to the diffusions and the Poly1 layer. Deposit blanket TiN/Ti layer(s). Pattern the TiN/Ti layer(s) using a TiN/Ti mask and a dry anisotropic etch. Patterning the TiN/Ti layer(s) may create TiN/Ti stringers along vertical surfaces of the interconnect layer.
