  • Publication number: 20240389214
Abstract: A method of generating attosecond entangled biphotons includes exciting a 1s2s 1S0 metastable state of a helium atom in the gas phase using four-photon absorption. The helium atoms relax by emitting extreme ultraviolet (XUV) entangled photons. The method further includes containing the helium gas in a cell at a desired high pressure, placing the cell in a vacuum chamber, collecting the emitted XUV entangled photons via an incidence toroidal mirror at a large solid angle, and collimating the XUV entangled photons into a beam.

  • Patent number: 12147775
Abstract: A content generator system receives a request to generate content for a target entity, and one or more keywords. The content generator system retrieves, for the target entity, a current stage identifier linking the target entity to a current stage within a multi-stage objective. The content generator system generates an input vector including the current stage identifier, a target stage identifier, a token embedding comprising the one or more keywords, and a position embedding for each of the one or more keywords, the target stage identifier associated with a target stage within the multi-stage objective different from the current stage. The content generator system generates output text content for the target entity by applying a generative transformer network to the input vector. The content generator system transmits the output text content to a computing device associated with the target entity.

  • Publication number: 20240371136
Abstract: In various examples, the present disclosure relates to using temporal filters for automated real-time classification. The technology described herein improves the performance of a multiclass classifier that may be used to classify a temporal sequence of input signals-such as input signals representative of video frames. A performance improvement may be achieved, at least in part, by applying a temporal filter to an output of the multiclass classifier. For example, the temporal filter may leverage classifications associated with preceding input signals to improve the final classification given to a subsequent signal. In some embodiments, the temporal filter may also use data from a confusion matrix to correct for the probable occurrence of certain types of classification errors. The temporal filter may be a linear filter, a nonlinear filter, an adaptive filter, and/or a statistical filter.

  • Publication number: 20240364744
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for securely executing user-defined functions within a cloud data platform. A method involves receiving, via hardware processors, a request to execute a user-defined function (UDF) contained within a sandbox process. The UDF comprises code for performing specified operations that necessitate access to external resources. To facilitate this access, a secure egress path is established using an overlay network designed to isolate the UDF's network traffic from other processes. Authentication and authorization details for the UDF are managed externally to the sandbox process, ensuring that the UDF's functionality remains orthogonal to the cloud data platform's operations. This approach enables the secure and controlled execution of UDFs, allowing them to interact with external systems while maintaining the integrity and security of the cloud data platform environment.

  • Patent number: 12132258
Abstract: Disclosed is a decoupling dipole structure that renders a midband dipole effectively transparent to a nearby lowband dipole. This not only improves the beam quality in the lowband without sacrificing beam quality in the midband, it also enables different lowband dipoles to be employed to customize the lowband performance of the multiband antenna without requiring a redesign of the midband dipoles or of the array face.

  • Publication number: 20240355324
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for improving performance of machine learning model(s) and thresholds utilized in determining whether automated assistant function(s) are to be initiated. A method includes: receiving, via one or more microphones of a client device, audio data that captures a spoken utterance of a user; processing the audio data using a machine learning model to generate a predicted output that indicates a probability of one or more hotwords being present in the audio data; determining that the predicted output satisfies a secondary threshold that is less indicative of the one or more hotwords being present in the audio data than is a primary threshold; in response to determining that the predicted output satisfies the secondary threshold, prompting the user to indicate whether or not the spoken utterance includes a hotword; receiving, from the user, a response to the prompting; and adjusting the primary threshold based on the response.

  • Publication number: 20240356731
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for securing traffic between nodes of a network against quantum computing attacks. For example, a first node of a network generates a random number input string and provides the random number input string to a second node. The first node may use the random number input string to generate at least one first key and an associated identifier. The first node may forward the associated identifier to the second node. Using the random number input string, the second node may generate at least one second key. Based at least in part on the associated identifier, the second node may select the at least one second key as a common encryption key. The at least one second key and the at least one first key are identical. Based at least in part on the common encryption key, the nodes may encrypt and decrypt traffic between them.
