  • Publication number: 20240364744
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for securely executing user-defined functions within a cloud data platform. A method involves receiving, via hardware processors, a request to execute a user-defined function (UDF) contained within a sandbox process. The UDF comprises code for performing specified operations that necessitate access to external resources. To facilitate this access, a secure egress path is established using an overlay network designed to isolate the UDF's network traffic from other processes. Authentication and authorization details for the UDF are managed externally to the sandbox process, ensuring that the UDF's functionality remains orthogonal to the cloud data platform's operations. This approach enables the secure and controlled execution of UDFs, allowing them to interact with external systems while maintaining the integrity and security of the cloud data platform environment.

  • Publication number: 20240363109
Abstract: Systems and processes for contextual message suggestions are provided. In some embodiments, a first electronic device receives a message, and determines a response message based on the received message. In some embodiments, the first electronic device causes a prompt to be provided at a second electronic device, wherein the prompt includes the received message and an indication of the response message. In some embodiments, in accordance with a determination that an input responsive to the prompt is received from the second electronic device, the first electronic device transmits the response message in accordance with a determination that the received input corresponds to an acceptance of the prompt. In some embodiments, in accordance with the determination that the input is received, the first electronic device forgoes transmission of the response message in accordance with a determination that the received input corresponds to denial of the prompt.

  • Patent number: 12132258
Abstract: Disclosed is a decoupling dipole structure that renders a midband dipole effectively transparent to a nearby lowband dipole. This not only improves the beam quality in the lowband without sacrificing beam quality in the midband, it also enables different lowband dipoles to be employed to customize the lowband performance of the multiband antenna without requiring a redesign of the midband dipoles or of the array face.

  • Publication number: 20240356731
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for securing traffic between nodes of a network against quantum computing attacks. For example, a first node of a network generates a random number input string and provides the random number input string to a second node. The first node may use the random number input string to generate at least one first key and an associated identifier. The first node may forward the associated identifier to the second node. Using the random number input string, the second node may generate at least one second key. Based at least in part on the associated identifier, the second node may select the at least one second key as a common encryption key. The at least one second key and the at least one first key are identical. Based at least in part on the common encryption key, the nodes may encrypt and decrypt traffic between them.

The instrument includes one or more processors configured to, when testing the DUT, accept a measurement signal at a first input channel and generate a first sample waveform from the measurement signal using a first set of parameters, accept the measurement signal at a second input channel and generate a second sample from the measurement signal using a second set of parameters, and generate a measurement waveform from a combination of the first sample waveform and the second sample waveform. Additionally, the measurement instrument is structured to determine settling errors in the first pulse of a double-pulse test, and then compensate measurements made in subsequent pulses for the settling errors.

  • Publication number: 20240355324
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for improving performance of machine learning model(s) and thresholds utilized in determining whether automated assistant function(s) are to be initiated. A method includes: receiving, via one or more microphones of a client device, audio data that captures a spoken utterance of a user; processing the audio data using a machine learning model to generate a predicted output that indicates a probability of one or more hotwords being present in the audio data; determining that the predicted output satisfies a secondary threshold that is less indicative of the one or more hotwords being present in the audio data than is a primary threshold; in response to determining that the predicted output satisfies the secondary threshold, prompting the user to indicate whether or not the spoken utterance includes a hotword; receiving, from the user, a response to the prompting; and adjusting the primary threshold based on the response.

  • Patent number: 12122392
Abstract: State information can be determined for a subject that is robust to different inputs or conditions. For drowsiness, facial landmarks can be determined from captured image data and used to determine a set of blink parameters. These parameters can be used, such as with a temporal network, to estimate a state (e.g., drowsiness) of the subject. To improve robustness, an eye state determination network can determine eye state from the image data, without reliance on intermediate landmarks, that can be used, such as with another temporal network, to estimate the state of the subject. A weighted combination of these values can be used to determine an overall state of the subject. To improve accuracy, individual behavior patterns and context information can be utilized to account for variations in the data due to subject variation or current context rather than changes in state.

  • Patent number: 12126440
Abstract: Bayesian Inference based communication receiver employs Markov-Chain Monte-Carlo (MCMC) sampling for performing several of the main receiver functionalities. The channel estimator estimates the multipath channel coefficients corresponding to a signal received with fading. The symbol demodulator demodulates the received signal according to a QAM constellation, so as to generate a demodulated signal, and estimate the transmitted symbols. The decoder reliably decodes the demodulated signals to generate an output bit sequence, factoring in redundancy induced at a certain code rate. A universal sampler may be configured to use MCMC sampling for generating estimates of channel coefficients, transmitted symbols or decoder bits, for aforementioned functionalities, respectively. The samples may then be used in one or more of the receiver tasks: channel estimation, signal demodulation, and decoding, which leads to a more scalable, reusable, power/area efficient receiver.

  • Publication number: 20240345166
Abstract: A test and measurement instrument includes one or more processors to acquire first, second, and third phase drive signals applied to a three-phase motor. A motor drive analyzer performs a direct-quadrature-zero, DQZ, transformation on the acquired first, second, and third phase drive signals to produce direct (D), quadrature (Q), and zero (Z) components, and generates an overlapped DQ phasor plot illustrating the D and Q components along with frequency domain representations of the D and Q components. The motor driver analyzer displays, on a user interface, the generated overlapped DQ phasor plot and an overlapped DQ spectra plot from the frequency domain representations of the D and Q components to enable a user to detect motor defects through visual characteristics of the overlapped DQ phasor and DQ spectra plots. The motor driver analyzer removes an offset and filters the D and Q components prior generating the overlapped DQ phasor plot.

  • Patent number: 12112833
Abstract: Methods for index hopping sequence read filtering are provided. Each read in a plurality of reads from a multiplexed reaction comprises an insert portion, and first (molecular identifier) and second (sample index) non-insert portions. For each of a plurality of hashes, a hash data structure is formed with a representation of each read. Each representation comprises a hash of the first non-insert portion of the corresponding read. Read pairs are identified in the hash data structures. Each pair includes a first and second read sharing a common hash value but differing index values. An entry is added into a heterogeneous data structure, for each such pair, that includes the first and second non-insert portions of the first and second reads of the pair. Reads with first non-insert portion values appearing more than a threshold number of times in the heterogeneous data structure are removed from the plurality of reads.
