  • Publication number: 20230188598
Abstract: Techniques are described that enable users to configure the mirroring of network traffic sent to or received by computing resources associated with a virtual network of computing resources at a service provider network. The mirrored network traffic can be used for many different purposes including, for example, network traffic content inspection, forensic and threat analysis, network troubleshooting, data loss prevention, and the like. Users can configure such network traffic mirroring without the need to manually install and manage network capture agents or other such processes on each computing resource for which network traffic mirroring is desired. Users can cause mirrored network traffic to be stored at a storage service in the form of packet capture (or “pcap”) files, which can be used by any number of available out-of-band security and monitoring appliances including other user-specific monitoring tools and/or other services of the service provider network.

  • Publication number: 20230185484
Abstract: A transaction management system includes a storage circuit and a processing circuit. The storage circuit stores a current tag value of a tag ID of a device and a tag value associated with a transaction initiated by the device. The processing circuit receives a reset query to determine an availability of the device for reset. When the device is to be reset, the current tag value of the tag ID is updated. Further, the processing circuit generates an acknowledgment in response to the reset query such that the device is reset based on the acknowledgment. The updated tag ID ensures that responses for transactions that are initiated by the device before the reset are discarded.

  • Patent number: 11675963
Abstract: The present disclosure describes design-time tools that assist a document designer in designing a document that is ready for translation into multiple target languages. In particular, techniques are described that enable a user or designer of a document to, at design time itself, check and verify that text elements included in the document for displaying text content are properly sized for displaying translations of the text content in one or more desired target languages. If a text element is not large enough to contain all the desired translations within its boundaries, i.e., there is at least one translation of the text content that cannot be fully contained within the boundaries of the text element, an indication is provided to the user or designer.

  • Patent number: 11677905
Abstract: A video recording system and method for labeling networked meetings and video/audio clips from a main stream of video/audio is disclosed and claimed. The video recording system allows a system user to selectively view and label a main video stream or video clips. A rewind control rewinds the main stream of video, and then label the selected video clip from a start pointer to an end pointer. The video recording system also allows network members to teleconference while recording a main stream of video. Any of network members can label selected sections of the teleconference in real time. Further, a recording alert control automatically displays a reminder message to a camera operator after a non-recording duration, such as 5 to 10 seconds, after the software application is opened. This feature is useful when camera operator forgets to record. A voice control feature enables voice command activation of the controls.

  • Publication number: 20230176974
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for utilizing an extended cache to access an object store efficiently. An embodiment operates by executing a database transaction, thereby causing pages to be written from a buffer cache to an extended cache and to an object store. The embodiment determines a transaction type of the database transaction. The transaction type can a read-only transaction or an update transaction. The embodiment determines a phase of the database transaction based on the determined transaction type. The phase can be an execution phase or a commit phase. The embodiment then applies a caching policy to the extended cache for the evicted pages based on the determined transaction type of the database transaction and the determined phase of the database transaction.

  • Patent number: 11668228
Abstract: A fan control system for a variable pitch fan of a work vehicle includes a first sensor that measures a parameter of a cooling system and a blade pitch module that adjust a pitch of a plurality of blades of the variable pitch fan to generate airflow in a first direction. A reversing module selectively commands a fan reversal that includes instructing the blade pitch module to temporarily adjust the pitch of the plurality of blades to generate airflow in a second direction. A first timer module, in response to the reversing module commanding the fan reversal, resets and increments a first timer and compares the first timer to a first threshold. A first reversal prevention module, in response to the first timer being less than the first threshold, prevents the reversing module from commanding a fan reversal by indicating that a first type of fan reversal is not permitted.
