Publication number: 20140000330Abstract: A chamber having a water jet generation apparatus and a mesh installed inside is pushed against a surface of a peening object. A rotary vane of the water jet generation apparatus, disposed in a region in the chamber between the mesh and the chamber, is rotated to generate a water jet flowing toward the peening object in one region in the chamber, the one region is a region closer to the peening object than the mesh. A plurality of shots 4 put in the region 30A moves toward the peening object along with the water jet and collides with the surface of the peening object. After the collision, the shots move toward the mesh along with the water jet. Compression residual stress is given to the surface of the peening object with which the shots have collided. Thus, spreading of contaminants peeled off from a peening object can be prevented.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 25, 2013Publication date: January 2, 2014Inventors: Hisamitu HATOU, Noboru SAITO, Ren MORINAKA, Fujio YOSHIKUBO, Masashi FUKAYA, Yuji MATSUI, Ryuji KIMURA

Patent number: 8523938Abstract: A stent includes a stent body in which struts are joined mutually while intersecting and which is formed tubularly as a whole, and a drug coat layer on the outer surface of the struts. The strut has a bend which is deformed as the stent body expands/contracts in the radial direction, and the drug coat layer with which the bend is coated is formed in such a manner that the drug coat layer is mountain-shaped in a cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the strut and the ridgeline of the mountain shape extends in a wavy shape along the longitudinal direction of the strut. The drug coat layer deforms relatively easily without using plasticizer as the stent deforms and is not so susceptible to causing problems such as peeling, destruction, damage or falling off of the drug coat later.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2011Date of Patent: September 3, 2013Assignee: Terumo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Ryohei Takeuchi, Kazuhiro Maruyama, Noboru Saito

Patent number: 7362117Abstract: A device testing apparatus including a connection terminal to which an electronic device under test is detachably attached, a pusher for pushing the electronic device in the direction of the connection terminal so as to connect the electronic device to the connection terminal, and a cooling unit for cooling the electronic device. As the cooling unit, an element cooling the device using electricity is for example used. The cooling unit includes a cooling medium blower for blowing a cooling medium around the electronic device and heat exchange projections or depressions for raising the cooling efficiency by blowing a cooling medium. In the device testing apparatus, even if the electronic device generates heat on its own during testing, the electronic device is cooled through the pusher, connection terminals, or socket, so the effect of the heat generated by the electronic device is canceled out and the electronic device can be tested at the predetermined temperature as prescribed in the specification.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2006Date of Patent: April 22, 2008Assignee: Advantest CorporationInventors: Noboru Saito, Hiroyuki Takahashi, Noriyuki Igarashi, Keiichi Fukumoto, Hiroto Nakamura, Yutaka Watanabe, Kenichi Shimada
