  • Patent number: 5102061
Abstract: The brushless signal transmitting device comprises a rotor; a fixed housing for rotatably supporting the rotor; at least one gear in mesh between the rotor and the fixed housing; an intermediate member disposed between the rotor and the fixed housing and rotatable in synchronism with and in the same direction as the rotor at a predetermined speed reduction ratio via the gear; a guide roller supported on the intermediate member; and a flexible wiring member connected between the rotor and the fixed housing. The wiring member is wound up around the rotor counterclockwise, for instance, and then returned via the guide roller so as to be wound up around the intermediate member clockwise. Since the intermediate member is larger in diameter but smaller in rotative speed than that of the rotor, it is possible to reduce the length of the flexible wiring member required to rotate the rotor by a predetermined number of revolutions of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4875832
Abstract: A pressure control valve for a variable displacement swash plate type compressor includes a valve element movable under a combined force of the force of a pressure responsive member and the force of a solenoid. The valve element is engageable with a valve seat which is positionally adjustably mounted on a valve case of the pressure control valve and movable in the direction of movement of the valve element. The solenoid includes an armature to which an adjustment screw is threadedly connected. The extent of the adjustment screw which projects from the armature is adjustable so that the position of the valve element is adjustable relative to the valve seat. With this arrangement, it is possible to adjust the pressure controlling characteristics exactly.

  • Patent number: 4848101
Abstract: A method of controlling the capacity of a variable capacity wobble plate compressor from an air conditioning system wherein the compressor capacity is controlled such that the degree of communication between a suction chamber and a crankcase is controlled by a pressure control valve to vary the crankcase pressure and hence the angularity of the wobble plate. The value of at least one parameter representing thermal load is detected, the magnitude of current to be supplied to an electromagnetic actuator of the pressure control valve is determined in response to the detected parameter value, and the opening of the pressure control valve is determined in response at least to the determined magnitude of current.

  • Patent number: 4723416
Abstract: A control system for controlling a compressor for an air conditioning system of a vehicle. A variable capacity type compressor is disposed to be driven by an engine of the vehicle. The compressor is adapted to vary in capacity with a change in pressure within a crank chamber thereof. A first calculator calculates thermal load on the air conditioning system, and a second calculator calculates the rotational speed of the engine. An upper limit setter sets an upper limit value of suction pressure within the compressor in such a manner that the upper limit value is increased with an increase in the thermal load, and decreased with an increase in the rotational speed of the engine. A capacity controller is responsive to a difference between the set upper limit value of suction pressure and the sensed actual suction pressure for adjusting the pressure within the crank chamber to vary the capacity of the compressor.

  • Patent number: 4621983
Abstract: A variable capacity wobble plate compressor in which a pressure regulating valve is arranged across a communication passageway communicating between a high pressure chamber and a crankcase, wherein the crankcase pressure is controlled through selective closing and opening of said pressure regulating valve, to thereby vary the capacity of the compressor. An oil guide passage means communicates between a lower portion of the high pressure chamber and an inlet port of the pressure regulating valve. When the pressure regulating valve is open, lubricating oil which has collected in the high pressure chamber is returned to the crankcase through the oil guide passage means, the open pressure regulating valve, and part of the communication passageway.

  • Patent number: 4546617
Abstract: An air conditioning system for a vehicle has a compressor adapted to vary its capacity so as to maintain the suction pressure of refrigerant. A door is arranged upstream of the evaporator in an air passage, which can assume a variable opening to vary the refrigerating capacity of the evaporator. The opening of the door is controlled in response to the set position of temperature setting means which sets the discharge air temperature, whereby the refrigerating capacity of the evaporator can be reduced when overcooling takes place, to thereby reduce the work done by the compressor for minimizing a waste of energy.

  • Patent number: 4377048
Abstract: A sheet fixing device for fixing a sheet such as a transparent map film sheet on the display surface of the display surface of a cathode ray tube of an information display apparatus such as an automobile position display apparatus. The device has a sheet pressing member having provided with sheet pressing rubber portions and adapted to be biased toward the display surface by a plurality of independent biasing member spaced from one another. The sheet pressing member is adapted to be driven by sheet pressing member lifting levers which in turn are actuated by cams adapted to be rotated together with a sheet guide. When the sheet guide is rotated to the position for taking out the sheet, the cams actuate the sheet pressing member lifting levers to cause the latter to drive the sheet pressing member away from the display surface of the cathode ray tube.
