  • Publication number: 20100099190
Abstract: Facing no ethical obstacle and easily to be isolated, multipotent concretely mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are one of the most powerful tools in reconstructive medicine. Here the inventors introduced 3D multicelluar spheroids culture construction based on photolithography and micropatterning techniques to improve multipotent differentiation efficiency of MSCs to adult cells. This invention, the 3D spheroid cultured construction for MSCs, leads to great improve of the differentiation efficiency. This invention relates to a cultured cell construct comprising a support; at least one island on the support; a hydrophilic and cytophobic substance applied on the surface of said support so as to encircle the island; and a spheroid which is derived from MSCs, said spheroid being in contact with the island.

  • Publication number: 20060285562
Abstract: A first reflective surface is disposed on the optical axis of monitor light emitted from a semiconductor laser element, and a second reflective surface is disposed on an inner surface of a lid portion. The first reflective surface is so inclined that the monitor light traveling on the optical axis is reflected on the first reflective surface and is then reflected on the second reflective surface so as to strike, as a second reflected light, a light-receiving surface of a light-receiving element. The light-receiving surface is thus struck not only by the monitor light traveling off the optical axis directly from semiconductor laser element but also by the second reflected light, which has higher intensity than the light traveling off the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 6816522
Abstract: A base frame, a laser device mounting frame, and a lead frame are formed by stamping and bending one metal plate. A reference plane is constituted by reference plane portions of the flat base frame, and metal plates for heat dissipation and reinforcement are further attached to the reference plane to provide high strength and heat dissipation though the present apparatus is a flame type laser apparatus. Also, a laser device is mounted on the laser device mounting frame, and the surrounding thereof except the light emitting side is molded with a mold resin. This eliminates the need for a cap for protecting the laser device and a wire, and enables collective production. More specifically, collective mass production is enabled by forming a frame by stamping out from one metal plate and molding the frame with resin without use of a cap.
